I am leaving a review about a a young adult who works in around the store. On this particular night of Monday July 14th, he was using a megaphone to tell people that it was time to leave. My husband and I walked to the open box area to look at some items to be sure that they were okay for purchase. This dark-haired young man walked over very rudely, and told us that we need to check the items and that we could no longer have the boxes opened. He grabbed the items and pushed them away So I refused to purchase the items. Then we walked up to the front with the rest of my items. I looked back and the young man was helping other people open boxes after he just told my husband and I that we could not open ours and we needed to leave. They lost a sale from us due to this disrespect and lack of proper customer service. I left a verbal complaint with the manager at the register. She also relayed information to the Head boss there at Black Friday store.
We are always happy to go shopping there and more than willing to spend a fair share on items that we like. But something really needs to be done about customer service with this young man. This young man walks around the store staring and walking closely to people watching them to see if they're going to steal anything which is very uncomfortable and rude. My husband and I are reluctant to even go back to the store because of how we were treated. The wife and I went here for the first time today and as we started looking through the bins my wife had grabbed a box and she went to open it and was rudely approached my a man that worked their telling her she couldn’t open the box we said sorry and that it was our first time here, not even 5 minutes later my wife was looking at another item that was already opened and the same gentlemen quickly approached her snatching the item from her hands again rudely saying you can’t open the boxes so my wife now feeling harassed asked the man why he was so focused on her. The employee then proceeded to go around the store pointing and telling all the employees about my wife. Now here’s the wild part over an hour had passed and we were about done shopping when the owner approached us and without any other context immediately said that his employee said my wife had hit and assaulted the employee which is a wild allegation to immediately throw at a customer before asking what had happened. Do they really think we would have shopped over an hour if my wife had assaulted his employee? In my opinion this was a terrible way to approach us and very bad customer service. There’s no situation in which this way of approaching us was acceptable. the owner and the gentleman employee should learn better customer service and how to just talk to people in general. There was a teething ring that was partially open so I pulled it out to look at it good and an employee named Abraham came over to me and yelled asking me not to open the box. I looked over at him because he scared me. I told him ok he demanded I hand him the teething ring I told him I was buying it he then yelled at me and told me he would kick me out of the store if I opened another box. It was my first time in the store the items were 3 dollars there was no need for the aggressive behavior. The employees were very unfriendly. I will never go back there again.
