I had just gotten out the hospital. I sent someone to get my prescriptions filled. I was in the phone, they handed him two prescriptions out the window and walked off. I asked did he have three, he responded no only two bottles. Ok so they didn’t fill the third script which was for lidocaine patches nor did they give a the script back or explain why it wasn’t filled. So he called the CVS pharmacist back with the bell. Pharmacist irritated and rudely literally argued with them and myself in the drive thru about this script. I asked for the number to the pharmacy as I could not communicate effectively on the phone in the drive thru. Being irritated he gave the number to the pharmacy and hung up the drive thru phone. I called four times, they refused to answer the phone. I had to get the person I sent to the store to actually go into the store and hand the phone to the pharmacist in order to share what I needed to speak with him about which was “yes my prescription was an OTC strength patch and he stated that he cannot fill it because it was over the counter. I could just grab it out the shelf. While this is true also I needed to be reimbursed for the prescription, so, because the doctor wrote the script. I asked that the pharmacist fill the script. The pharmacist lied, and told me it would be $62 to fill the script which was just over-the-counter 4% lidocaine patches when all he had to do was pulled the lidocaine patches from the shelf and fill the script with the NDC and it would’ve just come up the price on the shelf. When I shared this with him, he said it is just the same thing, If you just buy the prescription flat out over the counter since it’s not covered by your insurance I told him no first of all I have a script for this, and if you enter it in as a script that I would not have to pay taxes on the actual script it may not be alot to some but to me it makes a huge difference. Also the script was written for seven patches. He said “I’m only gonna give you five because I’m not gonna open up another pack to give you seven” I said “OK fine”because after thirty minutes of arguing with this man I was overly exhausted so he finally filled the Rx only after I let him know that I used to work in pharmacy And I know that he “can”actually fill this script. That is the only way he changed his mind but had and not known that information he would have argued me to death or allowed me to pay $62.00 for a $11.00 script. He Continued to argue me to death, and I just don’t think that was the best energy for me to be spending after being an a major car accident and getting medication at that pharmacy. So, i had to return back to the emergency room, and I got an other scripts and I actually went to another CVS, because I did not want to have to argue with the pharmacist about what medications they were choosing to fill and what medication they were choosing not to fill and keep the script because they didn’t want to just simply walk out of the pharmacy and grab them off the shelf, and simply enter in the NDC is despicable and plain ole just insensitive. I can’t even find the words to describe it. I was highly disappointed to say the lease. I wasn’t feeling well I had OTC meds that weren’t helping and then a headache dealing with this pharmacy location and this wasn’t the first time it’s happened. I have given them another try and now I will travel an extra fifteen minutes out my way to use the Matteson location that I pray I don’t get the same treatment from. If I do I will simply change pharmacies all together. Treat customers better no matter their insurance,...

My son has a automatic refill on his seizure medication every month, it's a shame that I have to hope that the 1 pleasant Pharmacist is there in order for my pick up process goes smoothly. If she's not there they either can't find his name, or arguing with me about his pick up day. This has happened over 4 times already, if I didn't live a couple minutes away from there I would have...
