We had a Celebration of Life this past Saturday April 13th in honor of our mom. Around 95 guests. Let me say a huge thank you to John Marshall Catering! Coordinating the event with Tori was very easy and detailed down to the linens and china. Casey and Angela arrived perfectly on time for the Pre set the day before and helped to make the hall sparkle! The day of, Casey, Angela and Michelle arrived on time again, took the reins and were on the spot with everything. I did not have to worry about anything thruout the whole celebration! Everything was perfect! The food...oh the food was amazing! We started with cold appetizers, fruit, cheese and crackers, veggies with spinach dip, then moved on to the entrees...stuffed chicken breast, beef tenderloin, baked ham, redskin potatoes. mixed vegetables, green beans, Halushki. Tossed salad and rolls. Dessert was cake and cookies So many guests complimented on the food and the service. They took care of everything down to the clean up. We booked John Marshall Catering for our wedding and they couldn’t have been better! From the very beginning we knew we didn’t want the traditional wedding food and Erika worked with us to build us the perfect menu for us! She even set up a tasting so we could narrow down our choices and find something we loved. The day of, Casey, Angela, and everyone else were just as amazing. They jumped right in setting up leaving me to get ready which was so appreciated. They were also so friendly. It was a hotter day and they jumped in with their own personal fans to help cool me down even though I am sure they were just as hot. Throughout the night I would see them and they always had a huge smile and endless compliments to make me feel extra special. And of course the food was amazing! We had burgers, french fries, veggies, pierogies, kielbasa, sauerkraut, and a late night pepperoni roll snack and I am pretty sure they were all the best of their kind. Recently had a celebration Of Life event catered by John Marshall.

I will first say that the food was very good as was the delivery/set up service.

However, their ordering process leaves a lot to be desired and resulted in disappointment with the menu.

I ordered Penne with Marinara, Meatballs and Italian sweet sausage. The sausage and meatballs arrived without ANY SAUCE. Also, the sausage was sliced into small slices the size of a quarter. I have never ever sceen sausage served that way unless it was part of the dish itself.

Also ordered was the Herb Baked Chicken Breast Filet Supreme. The menu offers no description of the dish but I unfortunately assumed it was baked breasts with no breading or sauce. What I received was breaded chicken breasts swimming in gravy.

Thank goodness John responded to my frantic VM immediately and sent one of his staff with SAUCE for the sausage and meatballs and additional chicken.

Don't know if I would recommend John Marshall catering, but if you do, I suggest asking about how every item on the men is...
