Harvest Valley Farm Market & Bakery — Local services in Richland Township

Not a bad place to pick up some pumpkins, the prices were on the higher end and their method of weighing things is odd as they make you weight everything in the cart and then they subtract off the weight of the cart. Trouble is there were carts of various sizes and I would have preferer to take the pumpkins out the cart and weigh them separate from the cart as that would ensure things were fair. When I weighed them at home there was a 12 lbs difference from what they weighed and what my USPS certified shipping scale said. Would have been a $6 dollars cheaper so nothing massive but I like things fair .

Since moving to Western, PA from Southern New Jersey 3 years ago, this is one of the BEST farmer’s markets I’ve ever been to!!! The pastries were WAY better than I expected!! The cookies, the carrot cake, slice of blueberry pie and the huge cinnamon bun 😋 were absolutely DELICIOUS!!!! The cucumbers are fresh and delicious! I haven’t tried my beets yet but they look great! The staff are kind and friendly! ( I appreciate that!) I HIGHLY RECOMMEND shopping there!!! I look forward to returning before the end of the summer to buy Greek olives, feta cheese, cookies, cinnamon buns and a pie! And then go on a diet...

Stopped here to get some apples and soup mix. I was paying with cash. After standing in line behind 6 or 7 people...I got to the counter and the lady said that since I was paying cash I had to go to the other line. There were no signs stating that this was a card only line. I went to the other line and had to stand behind 5 more customers...all paying with a card. There was no cash only designation in this line either. What difference dis it make what line I paid in. Guess my cash isnt good enough there. No worries since I will take it...
