I purchased a Cub Cadet lawn mower in March of 2023 WITH the added warranty plan from Tractor Supply Richland Ms. The day of purchase the mower wouldn’t start to load on the trailer, I was told to come back tomorrow to pick it up. After returning the second day the mower started and was loaded and I was given a spare battery after being told the battery may have been the problem they really didn’t know. I mowed my lawn one time and a week later the mower wouldn’t start. When I tried to change the battery I realized they had given me the wrong battery. I went to my local ORileys and purchased the correct battery that I Installed and the mower still wouldn’t crank. At this point I had to start paying to have my lawn cut. I went to the store and they told me to take it to a local lawn mower shop that they take their warranty work to. When I arrived they told me they don’t work on Cub Cadet. After reaching out to Tractor Supply customer support they put me in contact with the manager of the Byram store that swapped the mower out for me. After about 3 times cutting my lawn (1 acre in a neighborhood) the new mower failed. After reaching out to corporate again I was told someone would pick up the mower for repair in which nobody came. After I called corporate asking for a refund of the mower I was told to contact Cub Cadet because it was their warranty issue. Cub Cadet said tractor supply would have to give the refund but they would cover the repair and referred me to a local dealer. The dealer was busy (summer) and took a month to repair the mower forcing me again to hire a lawn service. After the repair I finished the last few times mowing the grass for the season without issues. During the winter I cranked the mower and ran it periodically to maintain the battery. Spring of 2024 I mowed my lawn once without issues the second time I tried cutting the mower died mid cut and would not start. I contacted tractor supply and never successfully got a resolution. Spring and summer are my busy seasons at my job so I was forced yet again to hire a lawn service because I didn’t have time to fight with it. Monday 12/30/24 I contacted tractor supply customer support about the issue and was referred to their people with the warranty department that gave me the same run aroud about getting it picked up then was transferred to Cub Cadet who said they weren’t available and hung up. I then spoke with someone at the store who told me they’d call me back and never did. I was contacted today by someone doing a quality check call and I explained this all to them and was told someone would call me in the next few minutes and never did. I then called corporate customer support again and was told they could give me a new one but it was out of season and none were to be had. I then asked if I could just be refunded and return it and was told they weren’t authorized to do that it was up to the store manager. A call and case was put in to the store manager and was told I would be contacted by the manager with a resolution. I just want to be done with it and wash my hands of this mower as I have accepted hiring a lawn care service this new year. I am a long time customer of tractor supply and frequent the store weekly if not multiple times a week. As of now the saga continues and I still have not received a call from the manager. This is unacceptable.

Read moreI bought several berry vines from here. They are sold in opaque white bags that are in tall boxes so you cannot quite see the plant other than what's sticking out. Got home with them and two were just twigs stuck in dirt. They get 3 stars because on the phone their customer service was very helpful and offered exchanges for the vines so I went back a day or two later to do just that and came back and the ones I had gotten were also dead. (they looked the most hopeful of all that I had to choose from) two of the other plants out of the 6 I bought were also dead though I had hope for them at first because though they felt brittle, there were still roots so I did not exchange those. Two of the berry vines were alive, though barely and are flourishing now. It has been well over a month and the two with the brittle roots are 100% dead with no change though I did give them a chance to see if they were. I emailed the company and they apologized and said they'd look into it though I have not gone back to see if they are still selling dead plants.
The reason this is 3 stars: when I went to exchange my products I went to the service desk and waited, several employees saw me holding the products I was bringing back and did not speak to me once. Eventually after several minutes of waiting I tracked down an employee in the dog food aisle and explained to her that I was told I could exchange them and she told me the plants I had shown her, which was literally a twig about the width of the side of a nickel, was not infact dead. When I told her that I was told I could exchange it she told me to go to the register where it could be taken care of. She was not pleasant at all and followed me to the front where I eventually was able to exchange the products as she looked on and spoke to the other girl at the register with an obvious additude. Other than none of the employees tending the service desk in the middle of the store the service was fine.

Read moreThe cashier working when I went in was very rude and seemed to have an attitude when I asked her help with finding something...my husband and I were the only customers in the store and I never saw any other workers which is why I asked for her help...she pointed me to the isle the item was and I went and looked and still couldn't find it so I went back and asked for her to please show me and she said really? And then let out a big sigh and rolled her eyes and started walking... she of course walked straight to it (she freaking works there so of course she went straight to it) and said it's right here like I said before...I said thanks and we went back to the counter for me check out...she has a scar on her face that's pretty noticeable and thought maybe her attitude towards us had something to do with how people have treated her in the past (that's just me guessing, I know people can be mean) but after I thought about it that doesn't give her the right to be so rude to someone who didn't do or say anything to deserve that sort of treatment! And again that's just me assuming the reason for her rudeness... she could just be that way because this was not the only occasion... I only go there if I have to!
