Gary's Quik Stop — Local services in Richmond

Their pizza is good but apparently they do not know their own menu or have much for sandwiches. I picked up their menu and ordered "The Corner Kick". They said that they do not have that anymore. (FYI... on their menu it says that it is new.) I then ordered "The Western". On the menu it is a sub that is shaved steak or chicken with mushrooms, onions, "smothered in BBQ", with cheese and lettuce. Sounds good right? I get our food home and I also called the store to see where our coleslaw is. Even though under "Make it a Basket" it says french fries or onion rings and coleslaw, they told me that they don't do coleslaw. After a hung up with them, I looked at my food further. I have a cheese burger with lettuce, tomato, and an onion ring on it instead of "The Western". This store's menu is jacked up or the employees don't know their own menu. Either way I am just going to stick with their very greasy pizza and buying...

Strike 1: the fuel pumps don't work or are slow (5$ worth of fuel in 5 min time slow)

Strike 2: interactions with staff make them appear in action and conversation like they have just regained Consciousness after a colonoscopy (not pleasant and rude)

Strike 3: $cost$. with the above disadvantages in a business if everything was cheaper then stopping here would be justified but being just average priced if not slightly higher its just not worth your time.

If this place can be avoided I would recommend it, if not pay at the pump, get comfortable because your probly going to be the for over 10 min and avoid going in and...

I have lived in Richmond for 20 years. I use take out at least once a week. I have seen this store go through their ups and downs with staff. I ordered pizza and sandwiches last week, pulled up and you can see inside of the store and the kitchen were I was parked.... and YES I saw them!!!! The two most wonderful cooks at this establishment... SHELIA AND GEORGE!!! When they make your pizza it is pure perfection. I hope the owners will read this.... Advice from a regular customer.... Have at least one of these employees cooking every day of...
