The place is nice & clean...I went in there were three ladies there...one was lying on the couch another had just walked in and the other one was prepping some braiding hair...needless to say all three of them braided my hair, two in the back (one on each side) and one on the front...yeah 3.. the ones working on the back did okay..same size braids...pain n all..Now the short chick working on the front did larger size braids with pain in every move she made...she talked on her cell pon the entire time until the battery ran out...they had no personality...& I had never had my hair braided with very lil to nothing being applied to the hair, the lady to the left was applying some oil(very little to the hair as she braided...nice work, but too much pain....in spite of the over size braids in the front...I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT SHOP ON CRABB RIVER ROAD...AND WOULD NOT RECCOMEND ANY TO ENDURE THE PAIN OF THREE...

So I took a little girl (my student) who had trust issues when getting her hair done due to the fact that her mother had recently passed away and she had been the only one to have ever touches her hair (she is only 4yrs) so nobody had treated her hair in about 7 months due so do to that she had a lot of knots in her hair and undergrowth and was afraid and scared technically terrorized because in the past relativea would try to do her hair and were not patient and tugged without compassion . but the ladies here took very good care of her showed her love and care and sang to her and talked to her and made her feel safe they demostrated her that they wanted nothing but the best for her and she was able to calm down and and enjoy getting her hair done they detangled every hair they washed it throughout very well and they made sure everything looked amazing. I’ve gone here on several occasions. The first time I went I did have to wait a little while but I was very pleased with my hair. The second time that I went I had someone immediately working on my hair. And last week when I went I did not have to wait and the owner Mimi did a fantastic job. Everyone loved my hair. I think that it is definitely worth giving a try and their prices are very reasonable. The styles that I have gotten have been very simple straight back braids. Although I have seen them do some really amazing work on the other ladies that have come in. They only except cash so please be prepared for your appointment with cash in hand, if not you can go to the ATM at the gas station...
