I haven’t had issues with customer service at location except when buying gift cards. This is the 2nd time that I believe the cashier who rings up the gift card I purchased did not properly add the money into the gift card and I’m left having to deal with customer service number who just gives me the run around. I was just on the phone for almost 40 minutes and at the end of telling my story of the purchase day over and over with each transfer. I was basically transferred 6 times and in the last hold please and waiting approx. 5 minutes the call was dropped. I walked in to this store a couple days ago to request a copy of my purchase and they told me they couldn’t pull up my purchase receipts from 2 Months ago and told me to call customer service. When I called customer service they told me to call the number behind the gift card and when I called that number they told me to call Target customer service. This is all a waste of time. I strongly recommend not buy any gift cards or if you do make sure you also give the receipt to the person you are gifting the card to. My mom had an embarrassing encounter due to this situation as so did my dad last year. I should have learned my lesson then.
Update: I was able to email Target and they were so nice in the corporate office's. They left me a message after a couple weeks and told me they would be do an investigation and would take a while before they could find out what happen. They actually called back the next day with an answer in which was that the card was not activated but at the location where it was made. They asked if they could reimburse my Target Card or send me a Target e-Gift Card. I chose the Target Gift Card and within a few minutes I had it in my email. I feel so relieved that they were able to figure it out. I will not buy a Visa Gift Card but if i do I will make sure the numbers match my receipt and card. Lesson learned! I'm giving a 3 star because of the actual store and calls I made to Target with no help just a lot of...
Read more“As a regular patron of this Target location, I am consistently impressed by the shopping experience it offers. This store has become one of my favorites for several reasons. Firstly, it always seems to have exactly what I'm looking for, and more often than not, I discover items I didn't even know I needed - a quintessential Target experience. The store maintains a high standard of cleanliness, with products neatly organized, contributing to a visually pleasing environment. One notable feature is the presence of an armed guard at the entrance, which instills a sense of safety and reassurance. Despite their serious duty, the guards are surprisingly friendly, and I make it a point to exchange greetings with them, as they seem appreciative of the interaction.
In terms of pricing, I find the majority of items to be reasonably priced, and I must mention that the cheese pizzas offered here are as good as the Starbucks drinks within the store. Furthermore, the food section is impressively stocked with a variety of options ranging from fresh fruits and vegetables to essential pantry staples like bread and ice cream. The availability of such a comprehensive selection makes it convenient to pick up a few food items while shopping for other necessities.
While the layout of the store is generally easy to navigate, finding assistance from staff members can sometimes be a bit challenging. However, I have found that when approached, the employees are consistently friendly and helpful. Despite the occasional difficulty in locating them, their assistance is invaluable when needed.
Overall, this Target location in the Bay Area exceeds my expectations and stands out as a top destination for my shopping needs. Its diverse inventory, cleanliness, friendly staff, and convenient food selection make it a preferred...
Read more4/14/21 6:57 to 7:13 Customer service was not friendly, helpful nor professional from 3 girls when checking out twice. None of them wore masks which I believe is recommended by the CDC. One claimed to be management when I requested to bring my concern to her attention. While another made it clear more than twice I was not receiving items for free (I hold a target credit card I dont need anything free). I was told I was holding up the line. (This was my second trip through the line) I even stepped aside to customer service from checkstand 6 or 4 after I requested a manager and told the cashier to just delete the transaction and ring up others. When manager arrived she did not handle the complaint of the product/system that was having issues, instead just stared at me and told me to call corporate. I had 3 mean girls talking all at once to me who is only 1 customer when I'm sure they will receive more complaints on the same issue I had, in the future or maybe I wasn't the first. Glad my kids were not there to experience the gang up on a customer. My experience was horrible and have never endured treatment like that at Target. The ladies need more training on customers service, without the customer they have no job. Target is in a competitive market with Amazon and I always do my very best to give money to the brick and mortors of our community. Customers deserve a bit more respect than what was received that evening. Hope the situation...
