The Commissary — Local services in Ridgeland

The staff is RUDE! There are two older ladies that were at the check out that were incredibly rude. Granted, I did have a crying toddler who was in my arms (not running around destroying the store or messing up displays but in my arms). It was like a had 4 heads. You would think a store that sells kids toys could handle a crying toddler. Literally she’s 1! I did go back and give them another try recently and my experience was much better. Only one of original ladies that was rude was there this time however I do think the owner was in there and she was more than helpful. I’ve only been in this store once and had an awful experience. I wouldn’t recommend shopping here but if you do, please don’t give your phone number to them at checkout because they have ZERO accountability here. I will give credit to the cashier, she was very nice but unfortunately the manager Melanie was just awful. Melanie HARASSED me by calling my cell phone…twice. She also showed up to my place of employment not once but TWICE because of a mistake that THEY made, trying to get more money out of me. Absolutly wonderful store full of fun and unique gifts and toys for kids in all price ranges. I came in because they had a specific blanket I had been searching for, but i ended up staying and doing some christmas and birthday shopping for all the kids in my life because they had such cool stuff. The staff was extremely helpful but not at all pushy, gave great recommendations, and even wrapped my gifts beautifully! I was visiting from out of town but will be back and will shop online there too! Great local...
