I prefer to shop local, small town stores compared to Walmart or Kroger. I stopped in this IGA tonight to check out their meat selection. When I entered the store, the cashier looked at me and didn’t say anything, which wasn’t a big deal as she was scanning someone’s groceries. I did my shopping and came up the register. There was nothing said during the entire checkout process. Not a “how are you?” Or “Did you find everything ok?” Not a single word spoken. She didn’t even tell me my total. She just stared at me. This place has came a long way since New owners the prices having changed much but thats everywhere now. Most of the employees are nice. To get decent service at the deli u have to sneak up on them so they not hiding an say the opposite of what u want meaning if you want ur bologna sliced thick say thin if u want your ham thin sliced say thick lol im serious on that though after the 30th time of getting the opposite of what I say I like my ham shaved but I just say thin to save them time and help them out but ima say shaved next time and see if i...

I love a good, small town IGA...and Tandy's is one. The only thing is, well, the prices are high. Like, way high. I recognize that we are in the middle of some pretty bad inflation, but man, I was a bit shocked by some of the prices. Meat and produce looked good and shelves were fully stocked. The hardware section of the store was super cool, too. Actually saved my bacon because I left my coax cable seven hours away. This would have been a 4 star review but for the prices.
