The place flooded again on Aug.6, 2024 for the second time in the two years I have lived here. Some of the stuff I started packing for my Jan. 2025 move out was ruined. This is ridiculous..can not do this a 3rd time. I moved in August 2022. A week later my car was floating in a lake full of water my car rugs were soaked. A lot of people that were living here when I first moved in have moved out. If and/or when the entry doors aren't working you can't into your apartment. So, if you don't have the app or leave your phone you can't get into a place your paying rent for. I recently needed to re-download the door app and the person that works in the office has the damn audacity to question why or how many times I need the app downloaded. I pay rent there don't question it...if I email I need it then I need it. Getting packages delivered there is a pure headache I was told when I toured the building back in April 2022 the package room would have lockers to get your packages from. There's just cheap tacky shelves. Packages have been stolen. I pay for parking and lucky I do because the parking lot is packed. The weed and cigarette smokers walk by your window smoking so you can't leave your windows open unless its 2 am. I live on the 1st floor and have asthma so who the hell wants their apartment smelling like weed and cigarettes. In my private parking space I ended up with a flat tire in February because someone dropped nails and two months later the person dropped a case of glass beer bottles from his big black pick up truck and I had to make sure he cleaned up my driveway. The trash room does not accommodate all the people in that building. The smell from the trash on my end of the hallway is enough to choke a crocodile. The tenants above me..OMG...all that stomping they do is plain ridiculous. I'll have my law firm on the phone for meetings and on Zoom even they can hear that bumping around. I definitely will not sign for a 3rd year. The service from the office is lousy. I'll start packing...
   Read moreUPDATE 3YEARS PRO: CLEAN building maintenance does a good job at trying to keep up with the trash and keep hallways clean. Now if there are smells they are normally taken care of by the next day. Residents are nice for the most part. apartments are nice new and lots of space. I have NOT seen any bugs on the 3rd floor. packages are easy to get and don't seem to go missing. I have not needed any maintenance in apartment so i can not comment on that. Office is kept nice and CLEAN. I have always felt safe living here.
Cons: It does FLOOD. If it rains a a lot you CAN NOT PARK. You take the chance of it getting flooded. I has happened twice real bad. people had to come out of pocket to replace their cars. Parking is still a bit of an issues depending if all the apartments are rented. You can hear your thumping but most people are cool and don't make a lot of noise past 10PM. I wish we had more space outside in our community. Like a place to grill NO ONE can grill even if you have a townhome. front office is nice and knows what they are doing but if they don't like what you have to say she will be "sassy" with you. "and you know you are :-P"
This is probably my last year here, but more so because I need the outdoor space.
1 to 2 years I just know the price that it is now.I would not pay to live here. It is a nice place in a nice building. There are not a lot of parking spaces , so be prepared to park on the Train tracks if you get home late. For some reason our hallway always smells like old cabbage. It's starting to become more frequent. There's no bugs but you can hear a lot from your neighbors. Most of the time people are nice , but now it seems like People are taking packages or packages are going misplaced and Front office seem like they're being helpful at 1st but now are a bit nice nasty. Witch is sad. It's not a bad place to live but for what they are charging now.I just know it...

Hello potential residents, please beware of the horrors to come that apply to all residents with residing at The Mill t Riverside. I have been a resident since August of 2022 and have constantly been displeased by the uncleanliness of the building, the horrific smell inside the building and also the smell that lingers outside the building. There is now a new found smell on the main level which is what I would presume to be what a âdecaying bodyâ to smell like. I have made continuous complaints and it still seems to be a reoccurring issue that has yet to be resolved. The hallway carpets are always stained from the residual liquid spilling from other residents pulling their trash through the hallways. I have now lived through 2 tragic flooding disasters that occurred here at the Mill that has led to not only myself but over 50 residents vehicles resulting in total losses. The elevator seems to be out every single month. The main entrance key fob access has been down about 3 times resulting in me not being to enter the building to which I pay for. In my end unit I can hear the toilet flush every single time the family above me uses it from my bedroom which ranges from about (8-10 times a day.) I have been put at my wits end residing at the Mill and would like to be released from my leasing agreement without penalty due to the unbearable living conditions and the leasing office refuses to have some flexibility even though the living conditions are terrible.
