Updating my (positive) review because there has been a noticeable change at Preloved Riverton the last couple of months. I have been going to preloved for over a year and have loved Preloved Riverton and sold booths multiple times (plus bought tons of stuff and visited almost weekly). I typically have had great experiences. However, each time I have gone in the past couple of months, the workers are sitting on their phones (clearly not just doing the store Instagram updates) and not seeming to care about the store. Booths (including mine when I sold for multiple weeks) were messy and the store just had a different atmosphere. They post the same item on the Instagram stories multiple days in the row. This has not just happened to me but friends and family members who have also had booths and noticed a change. For example, in one of my booths, they posted one (random brand) sweater for 4 days in a row and didn’t post anything else (including nice, name brand things) from my booth, so I didn’t feel like it helped anything in my booth sell. The things they posted over and over were still there when I went and picked up on Friday night. This hasn’t just happened once and has happened to people I know as well. They just don’t seem to care anymore about making it a positive experience for sellers and also for customers. It’s still a great place to find good deals, but there are for sure things that have gone downhill lately. Hopefully they can improve but for now, I will be selling at and going to other nearby...
Read moreI have sold at Preloved Riverton 3 times now: Aug 2024, Feb 2025, and July 2025. All three times I've loved setting up my booth and watching the money come in throughout the week! It's a great way to clean out my closet and make money while doing it. I have noticed that when I do my booths in the summer, I make more money as there is more foot traffic in the store as opposed to other times of the year. The staff are nice and friendly, and there is a great environment in the store.
My one complaint about Preloved is the lack of attention my booth gets from the staff during the week. All three time I've sold at Preloved, I've gone in and checked on my booth multiple times during the week (usually 2-3 times) and the staff haven't made much of an effort with putting the clothes back into my booth that have been tried on. I typically use the sizing rings when I set up my booths, and the staff haven't put the clothes back in their respective size sections. They haven't hung up the pants nicely, clothes have been put back unbuttoned/unziped or backwards, my items have been put into other booths or other booth items have been placed into mine, etc. When I come and check on my booth throughout the week, I feel like I'm putting more effort into keeping my booth looking nice than the staff are. So, if you are planning on selling a booth, make sure to plan times to come in during the week to tidy up your booth and make sure things look the...
Read moreI have been a buyer AND a seller.
Always love my experience as a buyer. It’s easy to shop, fun that it’s constantly changing inventory, and I love the thrill of finding an amazing deal.
As a seller - I can’t recommend enough. I typically take my old clothing items to other resale stores that give you only 20% or so of what they price it at and they’re always so picky with what they do or don’t take from what you bring in. Preloved allowed me to take all my things, at the price I wanted to sell - and I came home with very few items remaining at the end of the week. I was amazed at how easy set up/take down was. Managing seeing my sales was sooo easy with their online log in. It was fun to check daily to see my sales grow. I let my kids have a booth and told them if they cleaned out their room & toys they could have the money their booth made. WOW! It was the easiest way to get them to clean their rooms and be excited to get rid of items around our house they haven’t played with or used in months. Totally will sell again when I’m ready for my next home &...
