To be clear, since others are reporting inaccurate information: Yes the store requires masks, like everywhere else in the state. You have to walk past several signs on your way into the store that make the mask policy crystal clear. No mask, no entry, no exceptions. Your "medical condition" does not mean you can come in maskless. It is a private, non-essential business and can refuse you service for not adhering to store/state policy. You are not a victim, you are not being discriminated against. You are being made aware of a policy intended to keep customers, staff, and their families safe during a worldwide pandemic. The staff does not need to hear your complaints and conspiracy theories. The policy is the policy and if you don't like it you don't have to come in. Nobody is forcing you to shop for antiques right now. The staff has been subjected to a level of hate, profanity, physical threats and verbal abuse that is simply unacceptable for anyone to endure while trying to simply do their job. True, an announcement is made periodically as a general reminder for customers to make sure their mask is on and worn correctly. It is not played every five minutes as someone else inaccurately claimed, it is on a timer to be played every thirty minutes. It can also be played as-needed so as to remind customers who may or may not have heard or acknowledged a staff member asking them to adhere to store/state policy. NOBODY has been asked to leave over a mask. Masks are available for free at the front counter for anyone needing one. While some people have chosen to storm out after verbally accosting staff and making a scene, or have been asked to leave after becoming a physical threat to staff, NOBODY has been asked to leave simply for not having a mask on. The store/state policy is reiterated and a free mask is offered to anyone needing one. The store welcomes all customers who are doing their part to keep other customers, staff and their families safe during this difficult time. However, the store will not tolerate people who risk the health and safety of others for any reason,...
Read moreWe are from out of state and antique our way to our destination and back. I could have given this mall âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸ but what stopped me was the attitude of one of their employees. If the owner is reading this she was the dark haired older lady. She made the saying âNever judge a book by its coverâ truth today. When we got there an older lady with gray hair greeted us, spoke with me, and was extremely helpful, sweet and nice. When we went to check out we told the dark haired older lady at the counter that that we had several showcases and cabinets we needed unlocked. The âsnarkyâ attitude (my husband used the âBâ word) she gave us was totally uncalled for. She acted like it was a huge inconvenience for her. She was snarky asking me which cases we needed open. And then she would say âwell that vendor has several so you need to show me where itâs at.â We were prepared to spend more money but she made us feel like we were a huge inconvenience to get the extra keys and walk a little further. There were cases that we didnât even ask to be opened. When she did open them, if there were several things that we wanted to look at, she would snarkily say âso you donât want this one?â She didnât give us time to look over the items to decide if we wanted all or none so we didnât get any from a couple of cases. She was just down right rude the whole time. Now the nice thing was that the younger gal with the nose ring and tattoos was sweet as could be checking us out. She was easy to have a conversation with and was so pleasant!! Never judge a book by...
Read moreOn August 23, 2025, The items I wanted to buy were in a case that needed to be unlocked, so I went to the front and told him what I needed , It was 5:53 PM and they said that they were getting ready to close and that they could not go back and unlock the case and they said to come back tomorrow. I didnât understand why they could not open the case when their hours are till 6:00 PM. There were four people behind the counter doing nothing at this time. So I couldnât understand what the big deal was for them to open the case. I asked, was it posted somewhere about this policy that when it was getting close to the time they were supposed to close they couldnât open up the cases. The manager said NO!!!. She was rude and could not show me anything stating that this was the procedure. If this is the policy of the store, then it needs to be posted telling customers that at a certain time they can no longer open up the cases. We had been there for a while looking, and if I had known that this was their procedure I wouldâve went to the front and had them open the case sooner. She then told the employee to go back and open the case. They made me feel like I was doing something wrong and I wasnât. The employees/manager need to take a class on customer service. Also the policy needs to be posted about when they cannot open the cases. I will think twice about...
