This inverted L-shaped plaza has almost everything a shopper needs for a neighborhood shopping center. Except for United Parcel Service (UPS), Jersey Mike's Sub Shop, and Food Lion, all shops are either local franchises or independently operated or owned. They are tucked between Famous Anthony's family-style restaurant and Jersey Mike's at either end of the "L." Some of these shops include dry-cleaners/alteration services, a clean and well-stocked Food Lion grocery store, a hair salon, a small but fully stocked UPS center, a printer ink refill store, West Pharmacy, and others like an insurance office and a credit union. Parking may be problematic because the traffic aisles are narrow, and parking spaces are lacking in number. However, there are scattered accessible areas along the long part of the "L" facing Electric Rd.; accessible spots along the shorter part of the "L," especially outside the Food Lion, are more numerous and well-marked. In addition, there are two unmarked east-west egress points along Grandin Rd. and one unmarked problematic and dangerous north-south egress point along Electric Rd. Rather than trying to enter and exit from Electric Rd., my preference is to turn at the traffic light onto Grandin Rd. where it closes Electric Rd and use one of the two egress points...
Read moreIt is just a little strip mall, off of 419. Anchor stores on the west side are Ichiban Japanese restaurant, Jersey Mike's subs, UPS store and a few others. The south side features a newly remodeled and upstaffed Food Lion Grocery and the home-town breakfast favorite Famous Anthony's (who actually serve pretty great lunch and dinners too). I live near-bye and try to shop here as much as possible. The Food Lion staff is great and you can't beat an omelette...
