Sips and Scoops Ice Cream — Restaurant in Cave Spring

My best friend and I went to sips and scoops and got two waffle cones with two scoops. Mine was cherry vanilla and blackberry. The cherry vanilla didn’t really have a taste….. kinda just tasted cold and sweet. The blackberry was alright. At least it had a flavor. The waffle cones were atrocious. They were soft and a little flimsy which allowed ice cream to seep in and leak out. The bottom of the cone also started dripping which made us both have to go outside and man spread to not get any ice cream on our clothes. If you are preparing for an ice cream eating contest, this is the place to go. It was honestly stressful and I couldn’t really…enjoy my ice cream. My friend got chocolate and cookies and cream. They said the chocolate didn’t really taste like chocolate- and the cookies and cream didn’t taste like it really had cookie in it. Overall it was mid and slightly annoying. What’s the point of opening yet another ice cream place if you don’t make the ice cream. I understand it’s the local homestead ice cream. But I can go to Kroger and buy a whole container of their ice cream for almost the same price as a waffle cone. The prices are comparable to blue cow, yet nothing special like blue cow. They didn’t even have the license for having boba drinks yet. Don’t open yet if you only have half of what you can sell. The inside looks run down with random cheap tables put inside. It’s like there was no actual thought to it. So disappointing. For those prices I’ll stick to blue...

Husband ordered a peanut butter shake, now if you order something with peanut butter, you expect it to maybe kinda taste like peanut butter. Tasted like a vanilla shake.
