Jen and her associate Bonnie photographed our daughter's bat mitzvah and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect job! The pre-shoot was a great opportunity for my daughter to get comfortable being photographed-- she felt very glamorous and model-like, and her confidence shined through in the images. On the day of the event, both photographers were on time, well-prepared, and fully equipped to capture our day. They were efficient and professional-- they got the "staged" shots we wanted quickly so that we had maximum time to enjoy the party, and were largely "invisible" the rest of the time, yet somehow they managed to capture every moment. It hasn't even been two weeks since my son's Bar Mitzvah and we already got our photos back. 900 amazing photos that capture every amazing moment of the day from multiple angles. I was disappointed that some of the kids moments I missed since I was socializing with family and friends that I hadn't seen in years. BOTH the moments I experienced and the adorable moments of the kids playing games and dancing were captured. Every photo captures the kfelling, the laughter, the bonding, the pure joy of the entire day. So I tried to make the number smaller and favored only the best. My number is currently 560. I did a google search when I considered it was time to have a professional photo taken. At 60 I really became camera-shy, and for good reason. Of course, I was impressed with Jen Davis's rating, her bio and her great web site. It contained everything a consumer would be questioning. She and I scheduled a date reasonably far in advance, but she was very accessible and responded quickly whenever I had a question or needed clarification leading up to our meeting. She sent me a reminder the day before the shoot with great prompts. When I met her at her home studio, she was so warm and made me feel very comfortable she gave me good tips and let me know exactly how it would go. I really enjoyed my session with Jen and may I say...the results were better than I imagined. I did of my own dress, hair and makeup and she did the rest- -seamless !!!...
