I will forever recommend Matt Kealey at Flesh Gear Tattoo and Piercings. This review is far over due, however, I hope it leads you to your forever artist. 5 years ago, as an eager 18 year old, I walked into Flesh Gear with a design in mind. After flipping through artist look-books (all of which were amazing), something about Matt Kealey’s intrigued me. Come appointment day, along with mom and dad, I was ready but rightfully nervous about the pain. Matt began the tattoo session with dotting the ‘I’s in my quote to give me a baby taste of what I was in for. He was also so patient and kind with my “entourage” that accompanied me. Needless to say the experience was an 11/10! 5 years later he has completed a memorial piece for me. I was truly speechless when I met myself in the mirror. Absolutely spot on. Matt Kealey shows me each and every time how passionate he is about his art. He is honest and helpful in the design and body location selection process. He thinks ahead to the future to help choose placement. His tattooing is seamless. He is not heavy handed and makes the process exceptionally comfortable. Matt is there to answer every question, concern, and comment you have. Speaking with him is like speaking with an old friend. I am grateful to have found an artist such as him. DONT DONT DONT go here to get pierced. if i could rate this -100 i would. my friend and i went in on a very non busy friday night. no wait and immediately went back to the piercing room, my friend just trying to make conversation asked how long the piercer has been doing this, he jokingly said back “since noon” now that i think about it it wasn’t a joke. i sat down to get my tragus pierced, he immediately shoved the needle through and didn’t mark it out and barley whipped it down, he couldn’t immediately get the jewelry through so he took out the needle and shoved in another metal thing though to figure out the jewelry, he then took the metal thing out and whipped the blood away and decided to reshove the needle through AGAIN at this point he got new jewelry and was using a screw end nose ring. absolutely not meant for the ear. he couldn’t get that in obviously. during this whole process i kept saying “im not sure we should keep going” “i think we should be done” thankfully my friend was there to stop him. she then proceeded to say get up we’re leaving, he didn’t offer me a towel or anything for the blood and trauma he caused to my ear. the male piercer there is very unprofessional. like i...

It tool me sometime to think about how to reveiw this one. First i would like to say they are really nice (make sure your id is up to date). Second i would like to say its super clean. This last part is kind of what you are looking for.... My daughter got a tattoo here and it seemed ok until later in the evening when she took one the plastic and it looked like someone had taken chunks out of her skin.
