A Fantastic Experience at Rock City Bar with Amy as our Server

I wanted to take a moment to express my utmost satisfaction and gratitude for the incredible experience I had at your establishment, Rock City Bar. Not only was the atmosphere lively and inviting, but the exceptional service provided by Amy made my visit truly memorable.

From the moment I walked through the doors, Amy's warm and friendly demeanor immediately put me at ease. She greeted our group with a genuine smile and made us feel right at home. Throughout the evening, Amy consistently went above and beyond to ensure that we had an amazing time.

Amy's knowledge of the bar's extensive drink menu was impressive. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she effortlessly catered to each individual's preferences. Her attentiveness and ability to anticipate our needs were truly remarkable. It was evident that Amy takes great pride in her work and genuinely cares about providing a top-notch experience for her customers.

First time at this establishment. Good bar atmosphere. The girl at the counter where you order your food is clueless. Not sure if that’s her fault or managements. It took 4 minutes (time printed on my receipt not my estimate) to order a cheeseburger, fries, and a soft drink. She asked two to three times about each of my items, she couldn’t focus on my responses. I asked if I could substitute cheddar cheese on the burger, she didn’t know and had to go back and check with the cook (nice guy, possibly the owner). She came back and said I could get cheddar cheese but it is shredded. I told her shredded is fine. When she finally gave me my receipt, I noticed I was charged $1.00 for ‘adding’ cheddar cheese. The receipt was clear, add cheddar, no American cheese. I questioned the girl why I was charged $1.00 extra, she said because I changed the cheese. I told her I’ve never experienced that at other restaurants. She just chuckled. Believe me, I’m not being petty about an extra dollar, it’s the point of getting charged at all. When I got the burger it was cooked medium well, a lot more cooked than I like. That problem is on me though because I didn’t think of telling them. At most places they ask you how you want it cooked. I was surprised that when I lifted the top bun there was no cheese on the burger. I looked and found a little bit of cheese melted on the bun. Also, there was no onion even though they say it’s included. Again, this may all sound petty but it’s the difference between a great place and a so-so place. If you don’t think taking four minutes to place an order is a long time, you weren’t the people waiting behind me. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the pick up window ordering style. You have to wait in line to order and when you get to the window now you feel rushed because everyone behind seems annoyed, especially if its your first time and you have questions. Plus its in a bar so it's not the best place to bring the kids. But the food delicious and the staff is friendly. I ordered their 1/2 burger with tots and a coke. My wife ordered their chicken and rice soup and a beef roll. My burger was cooked to perfection, well seasoned and juicy. Tots were great, not greasy with a perfect crisp. The soup was ok but nothing special. But the star of the show was definitely the Italian beef roll. WOW, gigantic and delicious!!! Perfectly baked, just the right amount of garlic, crisp cheesy edges and LOADED with beef. Just be prepared the beef roll takes about 25 minutes to cook. In hindsight we should have just shared the beef roll but like I said, we felt rushed and pressured to order. Still highly recommend this place, although I wouldn't suggest bringing the little ones.
