The Catered Affair — Local services in Rockland

TCA was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We booked them early in the planning process, at the same time as our venue. When our venue decided to not honor their contract with us in favor of taking on a bigger, more lucrative wedding, TCA stepped up and immediately helped us find an alternate venue. Their guidance and support through that process was invaluable and made an incredibly upsetting situation much easier. We just had our wedding a few weeks ago, and our guests are still RAVING about the food, the bar service and the quality of the service overall. We opted to do more of a cocktail party style wedding, with passed apps, followed by small plates without assigned seating. We were a bit nervous about the plan since its different from a typical seated dinner, but TCA helped us execute the plan perfectly. The food was outstanding - everything tasted fresh, seasonal, and like it was right out of the kitchen. They were amazing about catering to specific dietary needs and ensured everyone had plenty of options. We had a specific individual from their server team who was assigned to us all night, and she was amazing about checking on us and making sure we always had drinks in our hands and that we got to eat all of the delicious food. They also gave us tons of food to take home and our freezer is stocked with leftovers that we can't wait to eat. We HIGHLY recommend TCA - their delicious food and outstanding service is worth...

From initial planning, to execution on our wedding day, The Catered Affair excelled. We delayed our wedding due to COVID and TCA agreed to keep the terms and everything and just move the date (3 times!!)

We enjoyed our tasting (great food and wine), their guidance on helping us pick the final menu and beverage, and especially the service on our special day.

The servers were flawless, and our guests raved about the dinner service as well as the food. We really liked the fact they did signature cocktails for us (we’re cat lovers and owners, and they came up with special drinks with a feline theme). Trang, our main coordinator, worked closely with our planner and Harvard Art Museum people on all aspects of the reception and was always there throughout to make sure that everything was perfect. We didn't have the serving knife for the cake, and as if by magic, Trang suggested that we used theirs.

Knowing that we wanted to get married at the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA), we quickly found out that The Catered Affair was the exclusive event planner for the ICA. I cannot say enough about how helpful this team was throughout the entire wedding process! They provided a preferred vendor list, coordinated with the rental company, organized the day-of timeline with each vendor, created an incredible menu, and ensured our wedding day went perfectly! Amy and Kelly had incredible attention to detail and helped our wedding vision come together. On top of all of the event coordination, TCA truly delivered EXCEPTIONAL food! We had six incredible passed apps, a mezze spread, signature cocktails, a two-course main meal, and late night snacks.
