Pink Sky Nails & Spa — Local services in Rocky Mount

Shout-out to Tony who was very helpful and accommodating to my group of six who needed pedicures. I visited Stone Mountain Lake for a week and desperately wanted to get a pedicure. So upon scouring the web and reading reviews, saw that this spot had a 4.6 on Google and nothing on Yelp. So having to rely on Google reviews, I took a least of faith and decided to check it out.

To maintain the safety of all involved, they capped the number of persons in the room at any given time, so we our group of six had to go in two batches of three. Our group of there was running late because we misjudged the length of time it took to get from the lake to this spot, so during a very apologetic call Tony let us know that he'll still be able to see us, we just won't be able to get manicures as well. We were just happy that they were still able to take us.

Once we got there, we were quickly seated. Everyone had masks on and sanitizers were strategically placed for quick and easy access.

My pedicurist was very efficient and quickly got to work transforming my ogre claws into dainty little toes (damn you COVID), re-debuting my signature white toe nail. My friend looked over at me and communicated her approval of the spot and and, as I basked in the glow of being a stellar salon selector, I was brought back down to civilization since we were at the end of our time there.

They put us under some dryers but, I don't think they were working because we felt no air on our toes. Regardless, we say there chatting away, pretending to dry our toes, and after about 20 minutes, paid and left.

All in all, not a bad visit. I would definitely patronize again next time...

My last time there the lady rushed my nails. She didn’t fix her mess up and wanted to drill it down. She didn’t do the dip powder right and had my nails looking like they were already grown out. I gave another chance today and I should of took my services elsewhere. They have their children running around and interrupting services but aren’t child friendly on their end especially with special needs. They expected him to set alone which I do understand but he needed me. He was quiet and dozing off. The disrespect in this business today was very high especially to children who are having a rough day. Which you should know since there’s always kids running around.. 10/10 do not recommend. My wife's nails that this place did are lifted and she needs to get them off ...she called yesterday and they said they were too busy and told her to come in today but wouldn't set a time just for her to come on in....well she drove all the way there this morning and a guy greated her at the front and asked rudely " What you want?" She told him that she was told to come in so she can get her nails fixed so they don't get infected and He told her they didn't have time and to go away somewhere else..... No way to treat a customer.... Won't spend our money here...
