This charming and nostalgic store transports me back to my childhood. The staff's kindness and helpfulness are truly commendable. They generously offer a variety of complimentary samples. Their fried bologna sandwiches are awesome and surpass all others. My granddaughter was delighted by the diverse selection of candies that I cherished during my youth. These confections were a novel experience for her. This quaint establishment is an ideal destination to introduce children to the cherished memories and experiences of yesteryear. It also presents an excellent opportunity to acquire unique handmade gifts and brand-new vintage items that are difficult to find elsewhere. The manager, Haley, is sweetheart. The General Store is a wonderful addition to this community. The work that was put into this 1900s building has completely met and exceeded expectations. There is still some work to be done, and a selection of local items that need more volume and variety. This is, of course, to be expected for a store that is just starting, and in the future, would earn my 5th star. But this place has huge potential for growth that could meet the needs of locals or patrons passing through.
