I would rate 0 if I could!! For a place that's called BBQ they lack BBQ. You can normally smell a BBQ place before even walking into a place..that should've been my sign to turn around and eat someplace else Absolutely the dryest "BBQ" I've ever put in my mouth. It was almost like the Bob Evans BBQ from the store but sauceless and dry for sitting out too long. You would think for the price of the food the portion sizes would be bigger. I didn't feel welcomed at all. No greetings, no thanks for a business, nothing. The plates they serve on our overly huge, you could give smaller plates and at least make the lack of portions appear bigger. You have to look at pictures from reviews, as not all their images are of their food. Stolen pictures is false advertisement not sure how they haven't faced an easy lawsuit yet. Also I didn't ask for my receipt I should have as my card was charged more than my meal and I left a tip on top of that. While looking at their other photos and reviews I'm confused as to if people even know what good BBQ is ... Also seating and parking isn't the best best to take it and go buy honestly best you just avoid this place entirely. I'm not one to give bad reviews often but this was the absolute worst and I will never be coming back!! Aswell as recommending that people don't waste their time and money here unless they want dry food false advertisement and being charged more than you should on already overpriced food!! I really hate to see Mom and pop places do bad they need the most love, but this place shouldn't even have opened up especially in a town like RockyTop. I've also realized from another reviewer that I'm not the only one who thinks it's ungodly dry aswell as not the first person to have more money taken than what should've been charged. Be careful out there hopefully they make some changes or someone else takes over, hate to see yet another business added to the graveyard on main...
Read moreOk let me start off by saying this place is really worth trying if you like bbq and you like helping local places then give this place a try. Me and couple of my kids stopped here over the weekend and had dinner and let me tell you I'm glad we did we actually drove by it and I seen how it was sitting back in between like a little walkway behind a couple other buildings and I thought to my self I bet that would be a decent place to try. Anyways we kept driving to finish up what we where doing then my son said dad let's go back and try that bbq place it was only going to set us back about 10 to 20 minutes out of the way. But I'm glad we did. Now we got there I believe somewhere around 7 or so and now mind you they close at 8pm on the day we went. I even asked them if they where getting ready to close and they said we are here till 8 what would you like and something to the liking of your here to eat and we are here to feed you with the biggest smile and the nicest attitude. So now on to the food. We order a few different things to try and everything we got was spot on. We had the try tip sandwich, full rack of ribs, smoked mac & cheese, potato salad, beans with meat, hotdog, fries. And the sauce they make is really good to. My favorite was the bourbon sauce. But the other 3 where really good also. We will definitely go back and eat here again. We only live about a hour or so away and we will make this a few times a year bbq spot on our list. Until we fill it isn't worth doing anymore but I don't thank that will ever be the case with this place. I have posted a picture of 2 of the owers and if you see them on your vist here I bet you will have a wonderful experience. We even had a wonderful...

It’s rich & loaded with tender, smoky tri-tip that takes this comfort classic to a whole new level with the right amount of mac & cheese. Another standout is their pulled pork sandwich. It’s everything you want in a BBQ sandwich—juicy, slow-cooked pork piled high on a soft bun. What also sets this family-owned restaurant apart is its welcoming outdoor seating area. Whether you’re enjoying a sunny afternoon lunch or a relaxed evening meal, the patio is the perfect spot to kick back with some delicious food and good company. It’s comfortable, casual, full of small-town charm, including outdoor games for adults and the kiddos. There's also plenty of room for small groups or bigger parties. And there's decent parking.
