Ivan's Old Time Meat Shop — Local services in Rogers

I used this market for a while buying meat. The quality of meat was great, and the price was right. People have been supporting this local business through this covid-19 pandemic to ensure our local companies stay a float. However, the company has taken advantage of its customers by price gouging them!! Went in today to get some steaks and ground chuck and the steaks have gone up almost $5 a lb!! A ribeye was almost $25 a lb!!!! Ground chick was just a lil under $9 a lb!!! T ws $6 a lb about a month ago. I mentioned their prices and they said “price of beef has gone up everywhere”. I decided not to purchase meat there and im glad i did. I went to another market on other side of town where ground chuck is still $6 a lb, steaks are almost $6 cheaper a lb! Meat has not gone up everywhere. Dont support a local company that takes advantage of the community around them just to make money. Check around before buying...

Southern Hospitality at its best. It’s funny reading the reviews as their ratings would go up if some people reviewed them for their overall experience. Staff are always friendly and very knowledgeable. Meat as a whole is higher in price everywhere, so for those who think their prices are high are correct it’s just on average for the area. Ivan’s probably has some of the best selection of brats in NWA, which are unique in their own way with great well rounded flavor. They offer bulk sales which helps on cost, but they don’t offer sides of beef as traditional shops once did. We come from western Kansas beef country and drive 9 hours to our 2nd home on Beaver Lake. We made Ivan’s our GoTo place for quality meats. We had one opportunity to try their jalepeño pineapple brats and found them to be the best brats we’ve ever had. Since then, they were ALWAYS SOLD OUT! I told this ‘sob story’ to the staff at Ivan’s and what do you know???….they came in early and made a special, unplanned batch, for their customers to enjoy over Easter Weekend.
