There's always a bad apple in the bunch...I actually like this place to shop, except for tonite. Been there many times to buy meat from the counter. Prices are mainly over the product, all the many times I've showed there. So when I see 1.99lb. over the chicken I want 3 lbs. (JOSE) with the missing tooth on the bottom in the front of his mouth. Weights up 4lbs. I say ok, then rings up as $25.00. I'm like no, isn't it 1.99 a pound, like the sign says. He pretends to not understand me, then tells me it's 4,85 a pound. Then says that sign for 1.99 a pound is for something else not even in that cooler. It is in the cheese cooler a separate cooler. Ok well maybe I'm understanding this correctly...NO I THINK I AM... TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT, BE CAREFUL...CUZ IF YOU DONT READ OR SPEAK SPANISH I BELIEVE THEY WILL DECIEVE YOU WITH THEIR PRICING OF THE MEAT. This market was GREAT! Was in town and stopped in to grab some dried chilies and check it out. The produce looked absolutely amazing and the smells from the deli were intoxicating! Meat counter looked great and every employee I came in contact with had a smile on their face! Was in 8/13/25. I don't speak Spanish and am a gringo, I was treated VERY well here. Bad service, too crowded, no employee respects, embarrasing, discriminates, looked down on my 4 year old grand daughter today for a candy, lady at the register would not charge the candy with a bank card, at the register. Some food that is for cooking is not eligible on EBT card. Butchers talked about me behind my back. I heard them laughing when I asked about a price on a bag of bread. No need for laughter.
