Dollar General — Local services in Romulus

I took my daughter so she could run in and grab a couple things, she is almost 17. When the cashier was ringing up the stuff and my daughter was looking for her cards to pay the cashier reached over and scanned a sneakers ice cream bar then set it down on the counter next to her and my daughter looked up and caught her. She looked at my daughter and said, this isn’t yours is it? My daughter told her no.. the cashier played with some buttons like she took it off her bill, after my daughter paid the cashier didn’t want to give her the receipt so she took it from her hand and came out to the car and showed me. I went in and as soon as I walked up to her and said I think you forgot to put that in her bag… she said do you want it and I told her no I want the money back. The ice cream was melted and when the store manager walked over (useless) she couldn’t explain why everything else she rang up went into the bag except this ice cream that she had sitting next to her before my daughter even checked out. I am sure she was waiting for someone she could scam by scanning her stuff with other people’s and a kid that was distracted was a perfect target.. I’m going to turn this into the state along with corporate. This store is a scammer’s paradise between the cashier and the waste manager… If the owner of this location sees this you might want to reach out and find out the rest of the details because this is going to the state...

Dollar Generals are very convenient. I find one everywhere I go to get almost everything. I am literally everywhere. I live in Brownstown Township, I work in Novi, my family and friends live in Detroit, Eastpointe, Clinton Township, Ypsilanti, Grosse Pointe, Ohio, Florida, California, Kentucky, Ann Arbor , North Carolina and I travel enough to find a Dollar General everywhere I go. This Dollar General was by far the most organized, the cleanest, the most stocked, the friendliest Dollar General I have ever been to in my entire adult life I was pleasantly surprised the young lady greeted me as I came in the door with a beautiful smile, immediately asked me what I was looking for and rung the customers up as soon as they headed toward the cash register. First of all, I tried to visit the location in Van Born only to find that it was closed until 3pm and that was st 1130am. So I decided to visit this location. I don't know where Dollar General train some of their cashier's, maybe the School of Rude. Because the one I encounter today was Valedictorian of her class. No customer service skills. No "Hi how are you?" The customer in front of me went to his car to get a penny. I swear I could make this up if I tried. He held up the the line and do you think she said anything? No apology! Nothing! I didn't know he only needed a penny because hell I would have paid for his whole order just to get out of this God forsaken place.
