As a customer of US Cellular for the past 7 years-ish, I don't really have to reach out to the customer service with a few exceptions every few years:
About 5 years ago I had a terrible experience with this location. I went in to get a new phone with US Cellular. It was insured but I had an accident. When I went to utilize the insurance, the agent who had helped me a couple weeks prior, lost the paperwork, and basically told me it was a lost cause. I was truly disappointed in my experience and looking into switching phone companies.
Step in, Angela Slove. We were lucky to connect with her at the Rockton location. Honestly, our family wouldn't continue to use US Cellular without her. The company has a way with making their phone bills so complicated to understand its like they are written in a different language. I trust Angela implicitly when it comes to questions regarding our plans / phones with the company. She is knowledgeable and always has our goals & values in mind. She helped us with consolidating a family plan when we lost a relative in the last year. And then again, later in the year, helped us over several days of answering incessant questions and requests of quotes to upgrade new phones. She really goes above an beyond customer service. Our experience with her has been the best we've had in any customer service environment. When we need questions answered, we seek her out at the store. If she ever leaves US Cellular, we would likely change...
Read moreWhat an amazing experience! Angela was fantastic! We would would recommend the Roscoe UScellular office and especially Angela to our friends and family, what a positive experience. We dreaded going to the cell store more than visiting a used car lot. Angela was very prepared. She contacted us ahead of time to make sure she was ready with what we were lookin for. When we got the she was training a new rep (who was doing very well) had several more people walk in right after us and did not crumble under the pressure. She made sure everyone felt welcome and not neglected, while making us feel like she was taking care of us 100%. That is unheard of in this day and age. After she helped us find exactly what we were looking for she advised how long it would take to transfer the phones, from our ancient S10 to the new phone, so we could slip out and come back later. Of course the S10 would not cooperate and took forever, but Angela kept us informed and updated. When we came in to pick up the phone she was happy to answer a myriad of questions we had about the new technology and was very patient as we checked things and asked questions. It was refreshing to work with someone as knowledgeable and personable as Angela. If Samuel was paying attention to what Angela did and how she did it he will do very well! Read moreI was told my new phone is ready to be picked up. I left work early to get to U.S. Cellular before they closed. I arrived at 545pm. Door says they are open until 600pm. Lights are on, door is locked. Nobody answered my knocks or attempt to open the door or the phone. Customer service and good help are hard to find these days and US Cellular Roscoe is no exception. Edited to add; After backing out from the parking stall, I saw an employee crawling around on the floor behind a large window sign. Thinking she may have been unplugging something or hiding from me, I drove around the parking lot and by the store again, and said employee hit the floor again, hiding!...
