I came in to get hot food out of the hot case for my son. It is 1:30am on the 11th of April. Case is filled with breakfast burritos and sandwiches, 2 crispitos, a few old looking burritos, tray of chicken strips, tray of tots, 2 trays of the diced potatoes, 2 biscuits, and a burnt corn dog. I purchased a 3 piece crunch box and a small tot with gravy. I live 2 blocks away. When my son went to eat he was not happy. Everything was really cold, and the tots were soggy and tasted like old oil leaving a grease residue in your mouth. I checked his food and yes it was very unappetizing and cold. Returned back to the store to 1. Check the prices on the items because I paid 13.00 for it, and 2. To let them know that the food was cold and tots were undercooked and bad tasting. And to purchase something different for my son. I told the clerk about the food but nothing was done to correct the issue. Looking at the rest of the items, the other potatoes were also soggy looking and very undercooked, like they were microwaved instead of cooked. I noticed the temp in the case was only at 100 degrees, and the clerk and cook cared nothing about the problem. Cashier had his back towards me the whole time carrying on a conversation with his coworker, so I just walked out. Not very good customer relations. Out 13 bucks, and will no longer purchase food items from hot case there when those two are working, or maybe just not at all in the...
Read moreFantastic store, great people! They've got everything you need for country life. I've had excellent experiences with what I need being in stock, getting help with questions, and advice, both in person, and on the phone. The prices are comparable with the big box stores, and I prefer supporting a local company. They've even got a gas station and convenience store, with Krispy Krunchy chicken. I remember going to the DC Farmers Co-op as long as 50 years ago (the old downtown location) with my grandpa! The "'new" store (in North Roseburg) is big, bright, and clean. There is a covered pull through area where they are happy to load large or heavy items into your vehicle for you. They've got an impressive range of products, many that I've only been able to find there, such as a capped, slotted PVC pipe with a well seal, that I call a periwinkle screen, in which you place a submersible pump, to protect it. I couldn't possibly list everything they carry here, you'll just have to go see for yourself. It's a fun store for the whole family, and there's something there that will interest everyone. For all your rural commercial, agricultural, and residential needs, and more, it's THE...
Read moreWe go here often for farm and garden needs for both work and home as well as for friends. They have just about anything you need. Prices can vary however so jist depends what you are looking for. Only reason for the four stars is that sometimes I feel discriminated by the way I look or appear. And its happened most times my boyfriends and I have been there. An example is like a front door greeting. They look at me with no smile, more just like a straight face/scowl and then as I pass or someone else walks in, they are all smiley and friendly and offer assistance. But other than feeling a little awkward when I go in, the store...
