Friends and I walked in, looked at both the non-alcoholic drinks and the beers, and the owner or current worker at the moment yelled at us, questioning if we have our IDs. We ask him once more what he was saying because we couldn’t hear him. He continues to ask in a condescending tone if we even have our IDs. My friend shows him his ID only because he was the one buying today, but that wasn’t enough for the worker so he asked me for mine which i then respond that i don’t have it on me. The worker just cut me off by saying ok well don’t open the door or look at them. I've been coming here since I was a little kid like 7 years old.And now my son can say he's been coming here his whole life which btw he's about to be 7 now.Sam watched me and my brothers all grow up as well as we watched his daughters grow up and go to college.Sam is the best family owned liquor store owner in all of Cali. He's the best always makes me laugh and just over all great guy. The prices are the best in rosemead. He's got anything you can think of wanting to drink and if he doesn't you best believe the next time you come in he will have it. Sam is the man. I just don't understand why a store would cash payroll checks but yet they don't do their job by properly verifying the business or bank. This store lost my business. I use to like this store until they wouldn't cash my training check for $28.00. The bald guy didn't even call the company or bank to verify my check. He automatically said no.
