I spend approximately $600-$1000 per month at this store, and I frequently visit because of its proximity to my house. I am an eBay seller, so I come here at least once a week. I have learned how to use my phone to take pictures of products without having to open the boxes. However, today I picked up a box of coffee on my way to the checkout and opened it to check the expiration date. It is necessary to inspect the dates here since many products have expired. When I reached the checkout counter, I honestly informed the cashier that I had opened the box to check the products, even though it is not allowed. I understand that customers are not permitted to open boxes to determine their purchase. Despite my admission, they proceeded to open all the boxes at the checkout as if I were a thief. I purchased at least 30 products for $8/day and I took them to the back of the store where the employees opened and sealed them with tape. I explained to them that I had brought the products to the back for their employees to inspect, and they sealed them with tape. However, they still proceeded to open each product again, treating me as if I were a thief. The boxes were sealed with tape by the employees, so it was impossible for me to tamper with them. I expressed my anger to them, but they disregarded my concerns. No one spoke to me properly, and their behavior was extremely rude. I felt extremely disrespected and upset by the entire experience. If there are any issues, there are many other employees who could have informed the customers instead of treating them like thieves during the checkout process. This type of humiliation and rude treatment towards customers is unacceptable.
I am extremely angry and disappointed with what transpired today. All the boxes were sealed with tape after being checked by the store employees at the back, and the customer decided to purchase them. Moreover, I decided to buy the product and opened it while heading to the checkout to check the expiration date, which is not allowed. It is prohibited to open items already placed in the shopping cart to verify the expiration date. As a result of opening the box, I was treated as a thief and a criminal. No employee kindly reminded me, but rather rudely stated at the checkout, "We don't care if you buy it or not, you cannot open the product." I explained that I opened it to check the expiration date after deciding to purchase it. However, in response, they waited at the checkout without any explanation, treating me like a criminal and inspecting each product to ensure nothing was stolen. Please remember that customers do not have access to tape, and all sealed boxes are sealed after your employees inspect them. I suggest that everyone visit another store where the employees are more friendly and the product quality is better. I often find many products worth over $100 on Fridays at another store. However, the other store tends to be more crowded due to its better business. It is advisable...
Read moreThis is a fun place to go to see Amazon returns. Each day the price drops on the items.
The only thing I wish they would do is that after people take the packages to the back and open them, if the people probably aren't keeping the item then you might as well just write on the box what the item is instead of making people have to go wait in line to open the box again.
But I understand they want to kind of control how fast people are going in and out.
They do hold raffles which is nice and you can win some prizes.
I have found some decent deals but there are no returns. So if you buy something that is broken or missing, it's on you. So if you really want the item and want to make sure it's all there you need to check on the box. Line can get long so plan...
Read moreThis place is the worst. Aside from the mess they have everywhere, and how dirty the place is, there is a girl at the cashier that has zero customer service and treats people like garbage. My mom picked up a bag with a bunch of stuff in it that looked like beads and crafting stuff and that unprofessional and arrogant girl, who I was told is the owner's daughter, made my mom feel very bad, making assumptions that my mom had put all that stuff in the little bag to steal them when my mom had found that little bag with all that stuff in it and not to mention the bag was close with tape all around it. We will never be stepping foot in that place. Too bad zero is not an option because this place...
