King Nail & Tan — Local services in Rossville

This place is the absolute worst ever !! Unprofessional and over priced and did a horrendous job on my nails and they charged me $2.00 to pay with my VISA GIFT CARD AND THAT IS ILLEGAL. The owner was adamant about the charge!! He did my fulll set of nails while another person did my manicure…. Both of which do not look good at all ! They just wanted to rush me because people were waiting to get their nails done !! And the slapping of the hand really needs to STOP !! And talking in their language about you is inconsiderate and that needs to stop also… check pricing with other salons before you go. I checked when I got home and this place charges way more for their services ! They are in such a hurry to get to the next customer that they don’t say hello or thank you for your business when you leave!! The guy doing my pedicure has the water running in the pedicure tub with no plastic protector so I asked him to please place a protector in the tub . He had to empty the water out to put a protector in the tub…. Why did I have to ask for a protector? This should be automatic!! NEVER GOING BACK HERE needless to say… I had to give one star in order to post my review otherwise would NOT HAVE GIVEN ANY STARS. This place also needs a a good cleaning...

I took my daughter here for a nice mother and daughter spa day. We waited for an hour to be seated. I was ok with the wait because we didn't have an appointment and it was the Friday before a holiday. The upsetting part was I paid for my daughter to have gel nails because I know with younger kids nail polish doesn't always stick well. I paid for me to have regular nail polish. After the apprentice that was doing my nails applied 3 coats of polish the nail polish didn't dry an hour later. I went back and asked the manager if he could fix it to which he did with gel. I was grateful. However here it is Wednesday after we got our nails done and both gel polishes are COMPLETELY OFF not even 5 days later is VERY disappointing.

The pedicure was also VERY disappointing. My daughter sat next to me not soaking or anything while I got my pedicure done for 20 minutes. It wasn't until they were painting my toes when they started soaking her. The scrub was done with two fingers on the pumice stone wiping the soap onto my foot and considering that done. Her massage technique was also very soft. Almost as if she was scared she was...
