I have been out of town for the past two weeks and desperately needed my nails done. Knowing I am not returning home anytime soon, I decided to come to this nail salon. Let me start off overall. The nail salon was good and shockingly not busy for a Friday. The salon was professional, friendly, and clean. My review is just my opinion, as I am very particular when it comes to my nails and a service I have been used to for the past 10 years back home. My review is not stray anyone away from the salon; however, just my thoughts and possible suggestions. I am someone who typically gets nail art but did not ask for nail art because I didn't want to stress myself or them out. I received a dip manicure, and a jelly pedicure cost $110. Not a bad price. My nails turned out fine. I'm not in love with them, but I don't hate them. I just needed them done. Pedicure: The technician did a nice job on my pedicure. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure I was comfortable. Manicure: The technician was attentive and friendly from the moment I walked in. She made sure that I was ok with the shape and length. However, I do feel as though she cut my cuticle a little too deep. (No bleeding just to be clear.) I also didn't receive any cuticle oil once it was done. I don't know how long my nails will last, as they are pretty thin and my nails have a tendency to be fragile. This next part is really just my personal preference. I prefer to get my pedicure and manicure separately, especially when I'm not in a rush nor is the salon busy. I like to enjoy my pedicure and the massage chair without someone doing my nails at the same time. I just find it more relaxing. It is hard to enjoy a massage chair while receiving a manicure, as you don't want your technician to mess up. As for taking off my prior dip powder, I would have preferred my nails wrapped and with plastic gloves. This salon puts a paper towel and acetone in zip-lock bags and places your hands in them. This was a little awkward, and acetone has a very strong smell; this made the experience less relaxing as I felt I was breathing in the acetone while my nails were soaking. Also trying to balance a pillow and basket with a hot towel under the ziplocs my hands were in while switching legs for the person attending to my pedicure was a lot going on. Also, I would suggest a requirement that clients wash their hands prior to service, especially if they are receiving dip power (just an extra-sanitary precaution). Again, cuticle and lotion would have been nice at the end of a manicure service. If you are in need of a mani/pedi, this is a decent salon. This review is more of a preference, as I have high expectations and am a super picky person. Thank you for your services....
Read moreDisclaimer: I havenât had my nails done in yeeeeaarrrsss! Went to another salon a few weeks ago and got my first âSNSâ set.
Today: Omg! Found my new salon! Went in early to ask abt prices, because you never know. Then I set up an appointment to come back later after work. It was quiet when I returned and I received the most âcatered toâ care. I went in for SNS and a pedicure. I thought I requested collagen which I thought was the $32 pedicure. I also needed to remove my old SNS (which I found out that the previous salon put colored acrylic on my nails).
As I was getting this ahhhhmazing pedicure from David, I was thinking to myself âtake all of my money because this feels amazing!â Katie was so patient and kind. Both my nails and feet came out beautifully! $125 later plus $20 tip! It was absolutely worth it! However, this was a splurge for me. Be sure you select the right pedicure! đ I will definitely be back!...
Read moreI came by based on the reviews. I was asked to come back in 30 minutes for an appointment or when the next tech would be available. I came back and still waited 30 minutes. I waited and waited until someone came to my station. I watched as other nail techs stayed on the same person for a while like there was no other clients waiting. Finally someone came and started on me. They were âokâ. They tried to up sale me something after waiting 30 minutes and being passed by. The tech did a poor paint job. They didnât seal the paint or put something on it to make it dry faster. Basically they didnât put a protective coat over it. I ended up smudging my big toe when I got home. I came back the next day to get it fixed and someone different did a much better paint job than the previous person. I wouldnât come back because it was too many inconveniences. Walk-ins, waiting, and appointments are subjective there. I saw...
