Asian Kitchen — Restaurant in Roswell

UPDATE: 08/09/2025. Unfortunately we had THE WORST restaurant experience! We called to inquire if they were open because the last time we drove there to dine, they were closed, even though it was during their normal, listed business hours. The owner/server who we’ve always encountered, slickly replied, “Yes, we are open, that’s why I’m answering the phone.” She also explained why they were previously closed during their normal business hours. My husband responded laughingly, “that was a smart comment,” we both laughed it off replying, “we are at your exit and will see you shortly.” We walked in, and she motioned from the middle of the restaurant where the cash register area is located, to where we could be seated. There were two menus waiting on the table. I excused myself to the restroom, and my husband Joseph sat down. I returned to our table and saw our waters with lemon and sweet teas. Together, we discussed what we’d like to order and placed our menus on the other side of our table. At that point, as we have now been in the restaurant at least ten minutes, two Roswell Police Officer’s came in and were seated after us. Another five minutes passed, as we sat and watched as a to go order person came in with his son, walked to the cash register to pay and picked up their food. As we attempted to get eye contact with the male waiter, who came next to us to box up the food for BOTH tables next to us, we could not get his attention. We continued to wait, as he went back towards the kitchen, saw him come out with and drop off salads to the couple seated next to the officer’s table. At this point we’ve been waiting to order our appetizer’s for at least 15-20 minutes, and have not been acknowledged from the owner/server since we walked in and seated ourselves. The final straw to what was clearly a disappointing experience was watching the young man deliver soup and egg rolls to the officer’s table, who came in and were seated after us. Unacceptable! We motioned for him to come over and quietly, respectfully expressed we were seated before those gentleman. He replied he would let the owner/server know. Joseph and I decided we would just pay for our teas and go to another restaurant for dinner. Sadly, even after the young man spoke to the owner/server, she was still to busy and or disinterested to be bothered with us to take our order, and never came to our table, telling him to tell us the teas were on the house. Unbelievably THE WORST SERVICE WE HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED! We have frequented this restaurant at least 10 times or more, brought a group of friends with us August 2024 and EACH time we have been respectful, were seemingly welcomed, received good service and delicious food and always tipped well. As my husband expressed to me, there was absolutely no reason any customers who came in after us should have received appetizers before we were even able to place our order for ours, let alone respectfully remind the establishment, we have been patiently waiting. Maybe give a darn, and provide customer service to us as paying customers! WE WILL NEVER WASTE OUR TIME NOR HARD EARNED MONEY THERE AGAIN. We can afford to and do enjoy all types of cuisines/restaurants; this one is crossed off the list.

2024- This is our FAVORITE restaurant for Asian food. Not only have we eaten here many times, we also have taken friends here to enjoy as well. From the start, beginning with the service, you are treated almost like royalty. By our 3rd visit there, our server knew our preferences. We walked in to the best server in Atlanta, greeting us, seating us, and placing our favorite beverages on the table! Within five minutes of seating us, she also brought out our favorite appetizers and menus. We’ve never encountered such service, and attention to detail. In addition to the incredible service, the food is delicious! Everything we’ve tried is fresh, hot and flavorful. Greetings readers! I CANNOT emphasize enough how great this little spot is. I work at a retail space nearby and as a direct result I eat at Asian Kitchen probably 3 times a week (at a minimum) and this is for several key reasons.

The first reason is because the food is phenomenal for the price. Among my friends I am notoriously snobby about the things I like whether it be movies, food or games - they call me 'Eor' because I typically pick whatever subject apart with any criticisms I may be harboring. I only mention this because out of all the Asian food I have consumed over my 29 years, Asian Kitchen's offerings are comparable to selections from restaurants that are two or even THREE times more expensive than this gem out of Roswell. Whether its standard lo mein or their more expensive duck or lobster dishes - youre going to be happy.

A second, and equally as important, reason I give them my constant patronage is because they are the kindest, most accurate and thoughtful staff I have ever seen from a business of their size. They TRULY want to provide you the best service and food that they can. If you swing by a single time, they will remember you and what you like for the rest of your days. I mean it. I order from them constantly now, but at the beginning I was expecting your standard fare low key Asian food. The second time I called and told them my name they knew the exact dish I had ordered last time and had a range of similar menu items to recommend. I had ordered a spicy dish the first time and ever since then they offer to add heat to any dish that catches my eye and then on top they offer to make it 'extra extra' spicy just for me. They know my name, they know what I want, and they make it quickly with some of the best service I have ever gotten. Period.

I cannot recommend Asian Kitchen of Roswell enough. I tell everyone around me about them any time I am asked about good food around Roswell. Please, if you are looking for Asian food around the area, make this restaurant a priority. Especially compared to some other nearby spots (im looking at you Tokyo Boat -.-), you cannot beat the quality, affordability and personalized service that you will find at Asian Kitchen.
