This is a copy of the text message I sent to the owner of S&J electronics after a month long fiasco of trying to have two 43" Sony TV's repaired for a client of mine. Unbelievable!
I want you to know how disappointed I am with the level of customer service, communication and overall support I've had dealing with your company. I purchased those two TV's brand new from Best Buy and installed them myself at my clients home. They never once have been taken down or serviced by anyone. When I got the call that they were malfunctioning I went there, removed them and brought them straight to your shop. Upon drop-off, I was told that they would be complete in a week. That was on September 11th. I waited two weeks without a phone call from you before I decided to call you back to find out what the status was. I was informed that you needed another week to get the parts in and although I was disappointed that you never bothered to call me to inform me about delays, I decided to be patient and give you the opportunity to do the work. Another week went by and I still hadn't heard from you so I once again called you to find out the status. Again you said they weren't ready and said that they would be ready Wednesday September 29th and would receive a call letting me know they were ready. Wednesday came and went and I once again received no call from you. I came to the shop on Thursday September 30 and you again told me that you were waiting on parts and the TV's would be ready in another week. (Wednesday October 7th to be precise) I actually got a call from you yesterday saying the TV's would be ready by the end of the business day and that I could pick them up. I informed you that I was working and wouldn't be able to pick them up until today Thursday October 8th. When I arrived at your shop this morning, your employee couldn't find my TV's and had to call you. Then when we spoke, you had the nerve to tell me that you believed the TV's had attempted to have been repaired by somebody other than your company and that they still aren't fixed saying that there was some sort of writing on the inside of the TV's. This is laughable for two reasons.
If you felt that were really the case, you should have said that on the first week that you had them when you supposedly opened the TV's to perform the initial diagnosis.
These TV's were bought, installed, and taken down by me personally at my clients home so there is absolutely zero chance they were serviced by anyone other than your own technicians. Period.
I own an Audio Video company out of Wylie and was hoping to give business to a local repair company rather than going to a place like KO Electronics in Plano. (Who by the way has excellent service and communication) This whole experience has been negative and that is unfortunate as I could have provided your company with a ton of work in the future.
OMG. I just took a few minutes and read most of the positive reviews and almost all of them end with the line, "I sure would recommend them to my friends". Now I'm almost positive that they are making their own reviews. This is too much... š¤

From me: Then the writing is from you or one of your own technicians. I'm not exactly sure why you keep saying this. These TV's were purchased brand new from Best buy and I have emails from my client on the day they went bad. The same exact day I took them down and took them to your shop. It's utterly ridiculous that you are claiming that they were opened by anyone other than yourself.
I also have the original purchase receipts from Best buy. This is crazy. I have never once had an experience like this. I typically use KO Electronics for repairs but I decided to go with you because your shop is...

We got our tv back , the next day it broke. Tried to come to the location 3 times , however they closed early all days . I was fed up and ask for all to partial our money back . I cut him off while he was talking I kept watching him grab for his phone over and over . Then after saying I just want my money back . He called 911 saying Iām disturb the peace and being aggressive. I called the police myself explained that he was aggressive . This place is bad for business . He was aggressive with me but claim I was aggressive . I personally feel he called the police because I was an African American woman . I paid over $300 for my flat screen to be repaired and less than 1 year the TV now has the same problem and won't work at all. The part that was broken and needed to be replaced was replaced with a used part that was taken out of another TV. Obviously this is why the TV failed a second time. I have tried communicating with the owner in regards to my issue and was hoping for a solution from them that would not cost me another $300, but before I could come to any reconciliation the guy just wanted to argue with me and tell me that it is my fault because I agreed to their 60 day warrenty.
I am a business owner and understand the importance of customer service. I have never received such poor service from a company or individual before, especially at $300! Please do not go to this company as they will rip you off. I wouldn't even recommend repairing an TV remote...
