Don't sleep on Mr. Pide! If you're looking for a no-frills, delicious gyro spot, this place delivers exactly what you want—simple, satisfying, and full of flavor. The gyros are everything they should be: warm, soft pita, tender, well-seasoned meat (lamb and chicken were both great), and just the right amount of white sauce, lettuce, onions, and tomatoes. Nothing fancy—just done right. Portion sizes are generous without being overwhelming, and the ingredients taste fresh. Service was quick and friendly. It’s a casual place, great for takeout or a quick bite, but still clean and comfortable if you want to sit down. Prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality and portion size. This place clearly focuses on doing one thing well—and they absolutely succeed. Highly recommend if you’re craving a good, classic gyro without the unnecessary extras. Yummy! Eat here!!

If you’re like me (not a local from Wylie or Sachse or surrounding areas), I missed this place like 3 times last night because I didn’t see a sign on their building. I was also not aware that they hardly had any tables/chairs (or AC for that matter) for sitting down but that’s what makes this place special. Very no-nonsense and fresh Mediterranean food that is mostly for takeout customers only. Their portions are generous and they’re only open on the weekend. The cook who took our order was very nice and included free cold bottled water with our meals. Expect rice platters and gyros and a basic salad as well as very tender kabob/skewer meat. I haven’t tried their Turkish tea but their baklava and hummus (though a tad on the wetter side, I like thicker hummus) are really good too. I will def be back next time I’m in the area!

I had the pleasure of dining at Mr. Pide today, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. Once our food arrived, they even offered complimentary water and tea, which was a thoughtful touch that enhanced our dining experience. Not only was the food great, but what truly impressed me was the level of customer service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure I had a great meal. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being overbearing. It’s rare to find a place where the food and service are both outstanding, but Mr. Pide has nailed it. I highly recommend Mr. Pide for anyone looking for a fantastic meal paired with top-notch service. I will definitely be coming back!

This was a rare near perfect 5 star 200 review restaurant that definitely matches its rating. It’s amazing, authentic, reasonable, and delicious. This is a diamond being polished and will become a legacy eatery. Father and son starting out and they have a great start! All meat is Halal and it's plentiful on the plates. I asked for traditional Gyro Tzaziki sauce and the young man said they have his fathers special creamy garlic sauce with his hot red sauce. A new turn for me on a pita gyro, but awesome!. Service was fast and on time as I called ahead. The baklava dessert was also delicious! I asked how to pronounce the name of the place and he said "Mr. Pita". I said that sounded like Pita. He said this is the Turkish spelling. Give Mr. Pide a try. You won't be disappointed!

We had so much leftovers, I took a skillet and put eggs in it, then meat, then rice, then three types of cheese, then the famous garlic sauce and a Lott fresh cracked pepper. It was just spectacular! Put it in a soft flour tortilla or pita bread and add a few jalapeños! Wow! Killer combo! They...

So we had Mr. Pida for dinner for the first time tonight. Delicious!!! I'm assuming it was the son and father both cooking in the front. The son asked if it was our first time there and began to explain what each dish was before we ordered without even having to ask. Once we placed our orders to go and we took our seats, they gave us both a complimentary hot tea. Everything was cooked fresh and they even showed us our food before boxing it up to make sure it looked okay. I ordered the kabob on white rice and my wife the gyro on white rice. After they bagged it up, the son went to the fridge and gave us a baklava on the house as a thank you for trying them out. Not only did they give us top notch service, but the food was @#%# amazing!!! Don't let the outside appearance fool you. The inside is super clean and well taken care of. For those of you that haven't been yet, I highly recommend trying them out the first chance you get. You wont be...

Updated review: Went to Mr. Pide for the second time and it had unfortunately been 3 months since my previous visit. When my wife and I walked in they both not only recognized us but also remembered what we ordered last time, down to the detail of ordering extra garlic sauce and the hot sauce on the side. We were both very impressed and felt special. They even brought us some little glasses of Turkish tea. They are the nicest people and the food is equally as amazing. If I lived closer to the restaurant I would be in there multiple times a week.

Great little hole in the wall kind of place. Very nice family running the place and excellent food. It's not exactly close to my house but was well worth the drive. Wife and I both had the chicken doner sandwich and loved it, I had to get another one because it was so good. Very friendly service. We will definitely be frequenting this place. Btw they sell the...
