I recently placed a catering order with Fiji Sweets and Snacks, based on my previous experience with their good quality. Unfortunately, when the order was delivered, I was quite disappointed. Both orders for baara and bhajiya were completely dry and over-fried. After serving it to half of my guests, I was embarrassed. Every guest in the room questioned why the snacks were so dry and overly fried. Five people who consumed the snacks ended up with an upset stomach. Due to hosting responsibilities, I was unable to contact the store immediately, so I followed up the next morning and was provided with the owner's daughter Pooja’s phone number. When I called, she was very understanding and explained that they had a puja (prayer) that day, and somebody else had prepared the order. She offered to provide a refund and requested that I send pictures and videos. After sending the photos and videos, I did not receive a follow-up or a refund, so I gave them a few days to rectify the situation. 5 days passed, and I called the store again, to obtain and update, STILL NO UPDATE by the other daughter Poonam, who abruptly stated that their protocol is to have the customer bring the food back to the store so they can inspect it themselves. She mentioned that another customer who ordered the same items reported no issues, which caused confusion for my complaint. **Note: I was not informed of this protocol when I initially spoke with the owner's daughter Pooja, and it seems like an indirect accusation of dishonesty was made. If this is indeed a standard protocol, it should have been discussed during my initial complaint. If this were a protocol, it should have been stated from the outset. I would have gladly brought the subpar food they serve. The business practice exhibited by this establishment has been one of the worst experiences I have encountered. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, they are indirectly accusing a paying customer of dishonesty. The statement comparing my experience to another customer's was disrespectful. If another customer is satisfied with subpar food, that does not justify the poor quality I received. I will not return to or recommend this establishment again. They can retain the payment I made, as it seems they need it more than I do, to pay expired health permits, and violations issued by...
Read moreThis is a good place but I just hope they have made on date on there mithai's because i bought ladoos and in 2 days it had mold. Usually ladoos should not have mold that quick. If people know when the food is made. It would be better, rather than wasting money and prepared mithais go bad.
I also recently bought 4 packs of cream buns to take to families house and it was so embarasing that it had mold under the buns. When i returned she stated that it was made on Tuesday, bought on Friday. I told her that they should have made on date and sell by date on there fresh items or atleast check these everyday as it can be health hazard for some people. Not very happy. This is the second time this has...

No smile or even a thank you or eye contact hence the 4 star. The guy has the best customer service attitude that I have ever come across. Always will answer your questions and greets with a welcoming smile. Overall love the store and the array of groceries and am looking forward to the meat selection which I hope will be...
