I have been coming here all my life pretty much, they used to be good. I ordered here yesterday, the number 12, no jalapeños, extra meat; I ended up getting food poisoning, so someone is clearly not washing their dirty hands or using bad ingredients. I'm absolutely pissed. I tried to call to speak to a manager and make a complaint, they answered the phone and didn't even say hello, just left me on hold, probably left the line on as well since I tried calling back and the call kept going straight to voicemail. Their voicemail is completely full and you can't even leave a message, not like I wanted to leave a message anyways.
Update: Finally managed to reach a manager to make an official complaint. She told me she would do an internal investigation on her end and offered to give me two more sandwiches on the house. I don't know when I will have the time to go back but I will keep it in mind. Bumping my one star up to a two star for now. Maybe after I pick up those two sandwiches and try them, then maybe I'll bump up to...
Read moreEnjoyable very busy place with fair prices. Have always been treated with courtesy even though the language barrier is difficult. I don't see a lot of cross-cultural guests which will certainly mean lines well out the door when the tourist shoppers find these hidden gems in Little Saigon. Very much like discovering new foods and gift items for friends and family. Excellent fresh breads and veggies. Lots of drink options. Particular favorite is the low sugar nibble size small canister of Coconut cookies . The variety of Jelly cups in various animal shaped banks makes for a fun collectable. The sandwiches and egg rolls are a bargain. The seating is a little cramped; would be difficult with a walker or wheelchair even though a level entrance and accessible clean bathrooms are available . I am often guessing what I can am buying and the price but I think the inventory is selling so fast you really can't go...
Read moreFood wise, the sandwiches are awesome! Can't come here without it. We got the #12 "Dac Biet" which just translate to special/main sandwich with extra spread, did not disappoint. The Pho is surprisingly okay, not the most flavorful in town, but for a sandwich place I was expecting worse so that was plus in our books. Minus a star bc, we all thought the service could use serious improvement. The man who served us looked miserable and he slammed our water cups, tossed our receipt and straws at us. Then he looked very annoyed when we asked for an extra sandwich. Nobody filled our water the entire time and we were one of just 4 tables at the time (they didn't get much attention either). Also, when placing down our pho bowls he had his thumb slightly in our soup! Thumb of steel! Not a big deal, but next time we'll ask for...
