I waited to post because I was so upset and didn't want to post with emotion. First of all, the door stays locked. We went by 3 different times on different days (within the days and hours posted on the door) that's should've been the 1st red flag.

Maria is super pushy, persuaded my daughter to get a specific dress, and basically pumped her up until my daughter agreed. After trying the dress on, Maria said my daughter tore the sequins and beads but that she would fix it. It's important to note that the thread was already hanging off before my daughter tried the dress on.

Maria said she would make the alterations and would call us on Saturday, that same week, and had us pay in full through Venmo the day my daughter tried the dress on. She also mentioned there are no refunds or exchanges, which is understandable because she was making alterations to fit my daughter.

Saturday rolled around and about midday, we still hadn't gotten a call from her. I decided to stop by. The door was locked, but Maria was there and opened the door. She told us thank goodness we came, because there's no refunds and 2 other girls never showed up for their dresses either. I explained that she said SHE would call us when it was ready, she denied ever telling us that. She said the dress was steamed and ready to go and not to open the garment bag until we got home.

After arriving home, we opened the garment bag as instructed and placed it straight in the closet because we didn't want to ruin or wrinkle it, as my daughters prom was still 2 weeks away.

The night before prom, I asked my daughter to try everything on, the dress, the tiara Maria up-sold us, shoes, etc. As soon as we took the dress off of the hanger, beads and sequins started falling out everywhere. The thread was completely unraveled and fell off quicker than I could catch them.

There were very large gaps of missing thread and beads/sequins, and it was very obvious, but despite that, my daughter wanted to see if we could add a bow or flower or something to cover it. As we were zipping up the back, the loop and hook completely tore and ripped the lining of the back near the zipper.

After spending all that money, with reassurance that everything would be fixed and altered, my daughter couldn't even wear her dress to prom the next night!!!! I will NEVER shop here again or recommend this place to anyone I know. A complete...

This place deserves zero stars it should be closed down immediately this lady is a scammer. I went in January without checking her reviews we ended choosing a dress off a catalog for an event this May, I wanted to have my daughters dress in time and ready. I left a deposit and the lady said it will arrive in 2 weeks and she will give me a call once the dress arrives. Weeks went by and she never called I reach out this was March now and she text me a message “the dress will arrive tomorrow” I went the next day at the time we agreed on..she wasn’t in the store, the sign said open but the door was lock..I called her and said we never agreed at that time and she had errands to get done so we agreed the following day on a time same thing happened but she noticed my voice sounded upset so she arrived to the store 30 min after. Once inside the store she ask my daughter if she like any other dresses in her store and we were confused about her question than she said the dress we had pick on the catalog wasn’t going to arrive in time for May, so she went ahead bought cheap fabric and started hand making my daughter a dress I was in disbelief, I didn’t know how to react in the moment the dress was horrible my daughter was shy to tell her she didn’t like the dress we left the store I had to take time and think about plan B thankfully I was in time in search for another dress but her audacity 🤦‍♀️ once we got in the car my daughter was in tears she really was excited and wanted the dress we had picked out. After a week Once I calm down I went back to the store told her I wanted my deposit money back and hand her my receipt she said she needed to find her copy and she pretend she couldn’t find it but I was not going to leave until she returned the money so she gave up playing dumb and refunded my money. Be careful this lady really tries to scam you ! 100% do not recommend this...

Rude she criticized my daughter’s dress in front of other customers saying it was cheap material from China just because I didn’t buy it from her boutique. She kept talking bad about the dress to other customers in my face. Made my daughter feel super uncomfortable. Also talks about bad about customers when they leave. Customer service sucks. I left and went to another boutique and they said the dress didn’t need altering it was fine while at Lupita’s fashion she wanted to alter the sides and cut the bottom.
