Court Street Theater — Local services in Saginaw

First time to visit this theatre, and havent been in one in years. We had a great time on all fronts. The owners were nothing short of friendly fantastic people. Treated us like family. Cant say enough about them and what they've done with this iconic landmark. Personally love to see that happen, and hold a lot of respect for them for doing so. Also supporting young talent. We knew what to expect from the artists having seen Jake 5 times, and Erin 3 times. These 2 young artists are extremley talented and on they're way to great careers. Both are doing this because they love what they're doing and are humble, and have great stage presence. We live 120 miles south of this theatre and will find a reason to go back. I remember, years ago, 2004, I was 8 years old and my sister was 6. It's been weeks since The Spongebob Squarepants Movie left all the other theaters in the tri city area. But we wanted to see it, and my Dad found a place.

My Dad drove us from Bay City to the Court Street Theater and my mind felt blown, I've never seen such a throwback theater before with amazing popcorn and pop. The atmosphere felt at home, warm and friendly. 8 year old me loved that movie and that day. I'll never forget the memories my Dad left me with. Especially on that day in 2004 where I got to see Spongebob at this classic cool theater in a neighborhood.

We attended a private screening, so we didn't see the theater during normal operation, but it was comfortable and clean. The wall coverings, which looked like fabric curtains, showed evidence that equipment had been removed without closing the gaps, and the ceiling tile design was inconsistent, but that just shows changes have been made.
