Liquid Lounge has recently replaced Mac's Bar. Being an avid fan of Mac's, I will try to write this review objectively as possible.
Coming from a regular patron of the previous establishment, as I entered Liquid Lounge it was very obvious that it was nothing like the previous. The walls had been painted a pleasant medium blue, orange and olive green; a sharp contrast to the red walls before. This combined with new LCD TV's for the sports fans and some nice new menus, coasters, printed glassware and employee shirts all branding the new logo. We came in at 8 p.m., and there was already a medium to heavy crowd for a Friday night. Although we waited a bit for the sliders that we ordered, it wasn't too long of a wait considering the building crowd. It was maybe 15-20 minutes. Bryce our waiter was courteous and helpful in food selection, continuously check back to make sure that everything was up to standard.
A gentleman appeared and asked how everything was I was assuming he was the manager. The wait stuff seem to work together very well and operations seemed to flow smoothly.
If I were a brand new person coming in here I would definitely recommend this to my friends it is a pleasant atmosphere, with a lively crowd. If you were a favorite of the previous bar it will take some adjusting to get used to the new atmosphere but I would recommend you try it anyway. I had a very good experience overall.
This is a sit-down style Tavern with some great food at what looks like great prices, attentive waited and friendly atmosphere.
Thumbs up for liquid Lounge. Keep up...
Read moreThis place is a slider Mecca. They have sliders with ground beef, chicken, lamb, corned beef, Korean BBQ, pb & j and everything in between. Each slider is individually and competitively priced depending on the ingredients.
Our appetizer was the tater tot poutine. It was very good even though it was a small portion was a little short on the gravy.
For our entrees my brother and I enjoyed 7 total sliders, with variations from bonsai, the jerk and the drunkin chicken. All of them were very good to excellent. I would like to see them tagged or identified when they are served you know which one you liked the best for next time.
For dessert we enjoyed the “Bitties” which are just old slider buns that are cut up, deep fried and covered with some cinnamon and powdered sugar then served with icing. They were very light and refreshing. Our server also provided us with 2 complimentary deep fried Oreos that they were contemplating adding to the menu. Excellent.
Low/high top, patio and bar seating in a old town pub atmosphere. Full bar with custom drinks and craft beer. Excellent service from Bailey. Limited street parking. I would...
Read moreI was in with my family on 9/8/23. Kody was our waiter but also bar manager that night. We ordered our drinks and he responds with “let me finish up this shot with the guest and I’ll have your drinks ready” and proceeds to make shots and take them with the guest. That should have waited until after our drinks were served. I order a draft Miller Lite and after a few sips, I had members of my party taste it because it smelled/tasted funky. I asked Megan if she could check it and even she said it was bad. She mentioned it to Kody and he said “yeah, I noticed it early and asked someone to change it”, goes down to change the keg and comes up and said “yeah, it was empty”. If you noticed the keg was bad, you should have made sure it was changed before serving the next glass. He was very inattentive to our party once his girlfriend walked in, that’s all he cared about. Making/serving her drinks and doing shots with her. How unprofessional as a bar manager to leave your bar tender alone while you flirt with your customers. I love LL and if it wasn’t for Megan, I...
