Great local hardware store prices are not outrageous but not as low as the big stores most times a bit higher, good customer service other than when I went to get my chlorine jugs refilled last month I even asked the young man these are not going to spill in my trunk right he said nope, well I got home and noticed liquid coming from under my fairly new car I opened the trunk and one of the jugs was almost empty the cap was not on all the way and I had liquid chlorine all over my black interior trunk mats!! I called the store immediately and was asked if the jug had a leak, I said no it did not the cap was not closed all the way and it is all spilled on my trunk carpets, she asked what color they were I said black...like does that matter??? I asked what they were going to do if my black mats were bleached, she said there is nothing we can do!! Really??? Very disappointed. I bought a cherry tomato plant at the Ace US-1 south one week ago. We kept it on our balcony on the second floor. Within a week the leaves were eaten by a caterpillar I called Ace to see if I could return it The person in the nursery Immediately went on the defensive and said, « that’s impossible none of our plants have bugs it must have come from your home, plus we don’t take anything back because of the virus » We have no other plants on our balcony and I’m sure these bugs didn’t fly in. We live in apartment complex. The Ace employee didn’t even try to help. I’ve shopped there for years but this was my last purchase from that store. Great local helpful hardware and everything store! The staff is always helpful and they are knowledgeable in the products they sell! Great plant section to beautify your yard or feed the family. I do like that over the last remodel the outdoor fishing, apparel, kayak, water shoe and cooler section increased in size. This had no affect whatsoever on the other products they stock. Love the community days where they cook out at no charge and hand out flags to everyone on the 4 th. This is my first step before the big box stores and 9.5 times out of 10 they have what I am looking to buy. We are lucky to have such a gem that is locally owned and operated! Shop Local! Florida...
