I purchased Chuck roast that I thought were ribeye stakes, I apparently didn't have my reader's on anyways I fried one in butter and caramelized sweet V onions. I cooked medium well right...wrong the meat was so tough I couldn't cut it with my sharp stake knife and I couldn't bite through the meat! I paid almost 20.00 for them so I decided I was going to take them back. The two ladies behind the customer service counter were rude and condescending they were definitely not friendly and customer servicing. They looked at the stakes as if they were foreign and they said because of how much I paid for them that there was nothing they could do if I didn't have the receipt I asked them to just look it up on my Kroger card because I always use my Kroger card when I shop they said they couldn't do it and that they refused to take back the meat. So I asked for both of their names and the number to corporate as well as the store ID number they said call 1800Krogers and only one of them gave me her name but did not give me the other woman's name. I called corporate and they gave me a in-store credit of the amount of the meat and the taxes with no questions asked they looked up the meat that I purchased and seen that I had just purchased the meat and they acted like customer service was supposed to act. I asked to put in a formal complaint against the two ladies behind the counter because there was no reason why they couldn't have taken that meat back saying that it was their product and I had a legitimate complaint. They were not friendly and their customer service skills were poor to say the least. I left that store feeling very humiliated, unhappy and...
Read moreUpdate: This Kroger is a mess! They called to push back my pickup time. Great! I called back to confirm. The girl (who NEEDS training) who answered acted like she had no idea why I would be calling. Never asked for my name, I asked for the person (Craig). Asked put the phone on the counter and a minute later picked the receiver up and immediately hung up. Called back 3 times, never asked for my name and hung up. Was not rude at all. I was just simply trying to confirm. 8 calls and 45 minutes wasted, my app said my order was ready. I checked in at 6:02, and was told they were behind. I asked for a manager, they never got one. Went into the store and got the male manager at the register. He was not sympathetic or empathetic in the slightest. Never once apologized. Never tried to apologized. He obviously need training as well. He did give me cash. He never asked for me name or anything either.
This store needs so much help!
I love this Kroger. I love that it’s so close to my home. Tonight was my 3rd attempt to get deli meat (one of which of from click list). Went to the counter, and saw a sign that said “deli opened 8am-8pm. I was there at 7pm and the worker informed me that she will not serve me. Went to get a manager at customer service. There were 7 of us in line, not one person at customer service. Called the store, on hold for 7 minutes. Asked an employee for a manager, they did not get me one (Edna). Stated she doesn’t know where they are at. Went to the pharmacy, no one there. Finally found an employee who got a manager. The lovely manager did go and get my deli meat. Completely understaffed and has so much...
Read moreIf you want your transaction messed up & to be double charged on your items, go to this location.
Please management, properly train your cashiers.
I itemized my receipt & recognized so many errors after checking out.
Not only was I double charged, items that I didn’t even purchase were on there. And someone else’s Kroger card was on there…so the coupons I clipped were not even used & I had to pay full price for certain things. Double charged. And my coupons wasted.
I went to the service desk…after recognizing the errors. I can’t believe that line. I waited 20 minutes before just taking the loss. I had to leave. I was so upset.
I can’t believe the level of volume within that store but the lack of proper training among the cashiers.
You are handling people’s money & coupons.
Please management… Properly train your cashiers.
Ringing groceries up isn’t rocket science.
Also, There are never enough baggers. And the baggers that are there….don’t know how to coordinate the bags.
The baggers bag items that have no business being bagged together.
Why are you putting meat in the same bag as health & beauty items?
Management, where are you at? And where are your supportive staff or leaders to help train your cashiers & baggers?
Update: Cookies & beef that I bought were bad product.
The cookies were stale. And the beef went bad after pulling it out to thaw. It smelled horrible. I tossed it. I don’t want to get...
