Updated review: Smiths has gone thru ups and downs in all departments since theyāve opened. The $5 sushi is a joke. They slice it skinny like half the size of a regular bite. The last time we got sushi we all got terrible ill with food poisoning for days. Old fish? We skip this now. Never again. $30 down the drain each time. Disgusting. The pick up order side is a hit or miss. The produce is always a fail/about to expire/needs to be returned via the app. Instacart fulfills it better or if you go in and shop yourself. The shopping lanes/personnel have improved. The prices still are insane compared to their competitors. The lack of coupons in the mail is incredible for months now. Have to do digital coupons to save here. Fridays are great for 4x the gas points.
This is the best Smithās Iāve ever been to! Did you know itās the 3rd largest marketplace Smithās in the nation with 1 other located south of us in Skye Canyon NW Vegas. We donāt have a bar like they do but the bakery section is the largest and makes up for it since we all know Utahns loves their sugar. We skipped the grand opening chaos on Saturday and waited for Monday morning which was really chill. The employees are super friendly. We approached them with some questions and they told us where to go. After passing the large cart section you will see Starbucks which is light and bright compared to other stores. Sushi is $5 all week for their grand opening and after that they have select rolls for $5 Sushi Wednesdays. You can find a couple incredible reduced sale sections in the back of the store. Are you looking for more than a grocery store than you can buy menās and womenās clothes including kids items, big name brands like Carhart and yes they have dressing rooms too! You can even buy home goods here like bedding, kitchen supplies, gifts, etc. Bring the kids with you: safe atmosphere, they have a toy aisle with some items being cheaper than other big box stores. Their seasonal/ holiday section is grand and the store is fully decorated for the holidays. They have beer, hard cider, and hard seltzers with a video camera screen being monitored. The aisles are wide no bumping carts. This week you can save 20 cents a gallon at their gas station ($3.24/gal). Golf cart parking is on the left side of building and plenty of handicapped spaces. Self check out and lots of lanes. Donāt forget to use your rewards and get that cheap gas. We are thrilled this is now open and itās an amazing addition to the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMoved back to St George in Sunriver to discover this beautiful new store and gas station. Huge parking lot with covered stations for dropping off your grocery carts outside.. Inside it is enormous and they have historic pictures of St George. I visited there around 9:15 p.m. and it was quiet. I haven't been in a lot of Smiths store locations so I'm not familiarized with their layout. I can tell you this, they have rows and rows and rows of bottled water sodas seltzers juices etc. The signage for each aisle is a little confusing because if you don't have great eyesight you can't see the secondary signs halfway down the rows. For example I was looking for coffee..I did find an aisle that had coffee filters located on it and that's where it was.. They have great deals and if you get to the checkout counter (which the self-service one was open at this hour) the wonderful customer service people will swipe their own card to give you a discount. Now I'm going to have to sign up for a card. I met two of the employees Zeke and Tina and they were super friendly and fun and allowed me to take their pictures. I can tell you this, as it stands now if you get lost or need to find something in that story you're going to have no problem finding someone to help you locate it.
I snapped off some pictures really quickly but was having some problems with flair glare on my phone when I return I will take much better pictures and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI made the mistake of preordering our thanksgiving dinner from this location. Jared at the deli gave us 2 hams instead of a bone in ham and a boneless turkey, Iād preordered several weeks ago. I called and told him the mistake. He tells me that itās first come first serve and itās whatever order gets packaged first that gets the turkey. What?! Thatās the whole point of preordering, Jared, is to reserve the food items. He then says āI have no control over the online orders or what it tells you youāre ordering on thereā and then he contradicts himself and says āOh that was actually my fault, I should have put the turkey in the bag. You can come get it now if you wantā. I drive back over there and he tells me itās not even a bonlesss turkey and itās half the size Iād ordered. Jared then says to his coworker Pam (whoās equally as slow) āSorry Pam, I should have made sure the turkey was in the bagā to which Pam replies āOh donāt worry about it, you didnāt do anything wrongā. Neither of them thought to apologize to me, the customer who had to drive back to their store because of Jaredās mistake. And I still didnāt get the boneless turkey Iād ordered. Iām going to complain to Smithās headquarters first thing tomorrow morning. Iāll stick to the bluff street location...
