Note: This review is for the actual medical clinic, not the ER.

The people here are great. The doctors and nurse practitioners are nice and helpful and listen!

However, this place just doesn't work very well logistically.

Need an answer to something? Call and leave a message... and get no response. Use the portal to message your provider... and get no response Email billing and... get no response Ask for a referral and ... get a response! In about 2 months Get your medical chart transferred from your previous doctors in about 6 months (granted, this can easily be held up by the prior doctor).

But holy cow, folks, please just follow up. We pay enough to finance a small country (e.g. $1300 for an ER visit with no IV started and in a room for an hour with one injection of toradol), the least you can do is return a phone call, an email, a portal message in a...

One of my kids just had their tonsils removed yesterday at this facility by a provider who comes in from Petoskey. I can't say enough how amazing the entire staff was. It was their first day having the provider there and with pediatric patients its more high anxiety for the parents. Our main nurse Sheila was absolutely phenomenal. She took the time to check in on me when my daughter was in surgery and everyone was so great keeping me updated. I felt so at ease knowing that this staff was caring for one of my kids. We traveled a few hours to get there and they made sure we had everything we could need before heading out. When I have one of my other kids going in for this surgery in a fee months I will for sure be requesting they are done at this location thank you all for the amazing work that you do. Last Spring I fell hurt my ribs and was having a hard time breathing. Doctor sent me for X-ray came back, said that I had a bruised rib sent me home with Arthritis medicine, then another doctor did a cat scan and they found 3 fractured ribs from that fall. Then a few days ago, I had a cat bite on my hand. I was swollen so bad and it was painful. The same doctor comes into the room, "yeah, it's pretty swollen, we'll get you started on a antibiotic."
