This use to be an awesome place to come find great condition, cheap, name brand clothes. Now everything is overpriced for being used, even with their occasional sales it doesn't take much off the price. The biggest problem now is they thought it was a brilliant idea to rip out all the fitting rooms in all their locations. They give you 7 days to bring back what doesn't fit with tags attached and the receipt. Be careful when trying things on because if you rip a tag off you'll be lucky if they honor the store credit for that/those items. That's another thing...they ONLY offer store credit good for 30 days on items brought back, NO REFUNDS! If you're like me and live out of town, work, or busy with life and children and don't make it back within 30 days you're out of luck. Just another way they make money off of you. It's worth it to make the drive to Liberty or Kansas City and shop the other thrift stores in my opinion. I don't like donating to them either because they throw your donations outside on racks like trash to be left in the weather. Not to mention the giant dumpster they throw donations in because they get so far behind or don't feel like sorting...
Read moreThis Red Racks has an outrageously rude manager. Went on a Sunday and bought a table and chairs; the girl that checked me out asked when I wanted to pick it up. I asked her if I could pick it up over the course of the next week since I wasn't sure when exactly I was going to have a truck to pick it up. The girl said that's perfectly fine. On Tuesday night I got a call from the manager who told me in a very rude manner that they only hold furniture for 24 hours and that I needed to pick up my furniture that night or they'd sell it to someone else (mind you, I had already paid for it and wouldn't have gotten my money back-- also, the only reason they even had my number was because I offered to give to the girl who checked me out, she didn't seem to care). Thankfully a friend offered to pick everything up that night since I was stuck at work. When he came back he told me the manager had bitched about me and accused me of lying, claiming that the girl would never tell me I could pick the furniture up whenever I wanted! Very unprofessional and rude behavior. That manager needs to take a class in...
Read moreSomeone in town told us that this place used to be good but then it went downhill. We decided to try it anyway. We didn’t know what she meant by it. We arrived and it seemed to be in an ok neighborhood. The place was huge! The prices seemed a bit high but they had multiple $1 racks. All seemed good and then….. they don’t tell you until you have a cart full of clothes that they have absolutely no dressing rooms!!!! Not one sign!!! They tell you to get changed in the rows of the store….. the bathrooms are all locked so you are assured to not change in peace…. Again change in the hallway… Then I got the lovely opportunity to meet the workers… They had such lovely attitudes that I thought I was going to be punched in the face for daring to purchase something. They were all fighting with each other. They were extremely rude to everyone in the store! I dared to ask how much one item was and got literally screamed at. My 12 year old she never say something so rude. My friend went to hide in the car thinking that the employees were ready to attack. Advice for the owner: fire everyone and get a damn...
