Cabana — Restaurant in Saint Joseph

Great old-fashioned American walk up burger stand with excellent ice cream! I got a medium flavor-burst cone that was cotton candy flavored and they are gorgeous with blue stripes all around the regular vanilla flavored and colored ice cream. They are both visually stunning and delicious looking and amazing in their flavor. Plus I said that I got a medium and it was 6+inches tall!!! Cabanas ice cream is what draws people.....but their food is amazing as well. I had the hot ham and cheese. So delicious...thick cut and savory slices of ham with a honey baked touch and glorious melted American cheese. The crinkle cut fries are thick and juicy and made fresh to order. And OMG they're one of the few.places anymore to serve batter dipped deep fried mushrooms that were juicy and flavor full. Cooked to perfection!! My Mom had the tenderloin sandwich and it was delicious and juicy as well. Its 35min from my house to the nearest Cabana but I will be returning ASAP to try their burgers and other goodies from their...

Well I went here and basically just small mishap, I didn’t get my shake so I called just to let it be known or have it credited for another day. The manager, Katie Burns, gets on the phone and insisted on saying she was at the window and did NOT forget to give it to me, that she has made ZERO mistakes. At first she looked up the receipt to make sure I wasn’t lying (obviously wasn’t). I’m shocked that a manager was unable to even consider the possibility of a simple mistake and take accountability. Seems like new management may be in need, someone more mature. Just poor customer service from her. A manager wanted to accuse the customer of just wanting free food and lying. Absolutely disappointing. But hey, she finally got tired of a customer politely asking her to not speak in her tone that she threw us at an employee to credit us the shake they mistakenly didn’t make or gave away to someone else (easy human error, really shouldn’t have been an issue. Maybe just a sorry would...

My family and I went there last night ...we ordered cones as we often do the little girl running drive thru sound frustrated so we pull around paid with cash she rolled her eyes cause we gave her exact change she went and got one cone which was for my youngest my husband asked if that was the small she walked away so we asked another girl then we got a couple others from some other girls then the first girl brought our last cone so 5 total my husband said thank you have a good night ..the girl responded "yup" rolled her eyes slammed the window and bitched about us . GOOD Customer service is important if you want return service .Young people these days need to realize sorry bad attitudes are not going to get them anywhere in life . And we older people don't owe them anything . Part of growing up is to respect and if you don't like your job find one that suits you..Aweful...
