I'm so glad I went to Creation Care artists respond, tonight. They gave me a new appreciation and invitation to realize the beauty of God's creation, earth and when we take care of it, we also take care of our neighbors. Thank you so much Sarah Nelson, Sara & Troy Groves, Nate from Brake Bread and the worship leader (I forgot his name) for all of your wonderful loving explanations of what it means to care for God's planet that sustains us and our loving response to His invitation to taste and know His creation so we can be better neighbors.    Read moreReally, REALLY cool old church that has been converted into a theater. Pew seating, a piano off to the left side, and a stage that is visible from any seat in the house all make for an intimate, engaging theatrical environment. There's a room down the stairs below the theater where they usually have refreshments.
On Valentine's Day, they hosted a play called Til Death: A Marriage Musical. It was a 4-person play filled with emotion and impressive vocals, and they served cupcakes in the lower room that tied directly to the main characters' personalities.

   Read moreWe invited another couple to see 'Till Death, the first time any of us have seen the Bucket Brigade Theatre. The environment is intimate, close enough to the actors to see and feel the emotion in their faces. Everything about the production was so professional, but what captured all four of us was the transparency and authenticity of the story; it provided a springboard of conversation afterwards as we saw ourselves at both the low and high points. It was lighthearted as well as serious, but not trite or melodramatic. We're now on their email list, and I can't wait...
