Avoid this company like the plague!!! I ordered a futon from this company through Amazon..SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS..it showed up, I lugged everything to where it had to go and no mattress, The most important part. I tried to call this company's customer service and there is no sort of answering machine, just a fax noise or beeping. Can't speak to anybody. Have to wait until they are open. They must all be out the door at exactly their closing time, or before. Amazon says I would have to wait 2 weeks for a replacement, or try to get these guys to send me a mattress, in which I cannot get anyone on the phone and will have to wait until tomorrow just to even talk to someone, assuming anybody answers. Seriously...a mattress is bigger than a human being HOW do you miss that? Now I have these giant boxes in my living room that I can do nothing with because I have no idea what is going on. I ordered on line for the CONVENIENCE of delivery. I should have just rented a truck and went to the local furniture store and got it which would have been equally as expensive with more work, but at least I would have all the parts. I will be tripping over these giant boxes all night as I have nowhere to put them but in my living room which is very small ( hence why I wanted one with storage to begin with ). When the mattress does arrive, who knows when, I will have to return to this project and make more time for it and hope I do not fall and break my neck on these boxes during this wait period. The shipping department is careless, and does not pay attention. If it is going to take more than a day to get a mattress on this thing, I will request a refund, they can foot the bill to pick it up, and I will give my money to someone who will provide me with the complete product. Read moreThis company was awesome to work, specifically Ernesto (he was amazing, professional and cared about me, BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE) who validated my purchase through Overstock and immediately handled my issue. Deal directly with Kodiak!! Background of issue: I ordered a futon from Overstock made by Kodiak Furniture, and it came in 3 packages, we put together the futon frame with no issues. The cushion had a big gash in it from shipping thru to the cushion which was damaged. Getting through to anyone at Overstock was a joke. First person didn't listen and sent me to their survey; finally had someone I thought would help. She let me know that UPS was going to come get all the 3 packages, WHY the frame was fine. She said she couldn't just get the cushion WHAT? She didn't even try to resolve it by calling the manufacturer. Which Kodiak said they do all the time. We already put together the futon I wasn't going to take it all apart. That's when I called and Kodiak to the rescue. They sent me a ticket for just the damaged cushion, which we returned. And he sent out a new cushion and I received it in about 2 days. Thank you, Kodiak Furniture, just wish I knew I would have ordered from you directly. No more...

First, the actual product is excellent. It's high quality and well made. I highly recommend their products.
Second, their customer service team is excellent. The frame and the mattress came in 2 separate boxes, but Amazon only gave me tracking information for 1 of the boxes. I received the frame on one day, and Amazon essentially told me that it was completely delivered. I was concerned! Was the mattress lost or not coming? Right away, I contacted Kodiak directly, asking their customer service about the tracking for the 2nd box. Within a few hours, Kodiak's customer service team responded and helped me get the tracking for the 2nd box, which was arriving only a day after the first.
