This will be our fourth year attending the Irish Fair and overall it's ok. I like the idea of course, but there are elements of this fair that just don't work year after year: tickets for food and beverage. You have to buy tickets for everything -the lines are VERY long and if you don't buy the right amount you either are stuck with extra tickets OR you don't have enough and have t stand in the long line again. The beer is 7 tickets - each ticket is $1.00 - !!! the food is equally expensive. They advertise as a free fair, which is true since there isn't a ticket price to get in, but the prices for anything to drink or eat take away the "free" idea very quickly. The music has always been great - keep up the great job on the acts you book! The vendors are plentiful - you could easily spend a lot of time browsing and buying a lot if you wanted to. The bathrooms...oh the dreadful, dirty, smelly portapottie bathrooms! The REALLY need to have these cleaned DAILY or have twice as many of them. Next year if we go we are bringing in our own food and beverage - not sure this is allowed, but based on how many other people we saw doing this i think it's a good plan. Parking - we had paid about $10 or $15 to park but this year we parked about a 10 minute walk...

It was very expensive but that's not their fault. I love the Irish music 🎵🎶 and dancing girls and all the people dressed in Irish spirit! It's nice along the Mississippi River. They didn't have as many shops as the last time I was there. I was looking for a nice chemise for my girl to wear to the Renaissance festival but to no avail. I bought her a sexy Scottish outfit. I got a fanny pack and a Scottish shawl thingy. I was very happy they had recycling containers. I saw a tent for quiet space. I had to chuckle inside. There were plenty of satellites so I never had to wait long to go to the bathroom. The only parking was in businesses across the street and down the way so we had to walk a couple blocks but it was okay. I love...

But what food we did sample was very tasty, well prepared and came pretty close to being a good value considering where we were. A variety of vendors make it easy to find something to add to your memories of being at the 2022 Irish Fair. The music and dancing are plentiful and varied. We were there Friday afternoon into the early evening. It was not crowded, and there were adequate comfort stations. We're going...
