As a born and raised Scotsman, this “Highland Games” was nae worth yer bother.
When we arrived on the Saturday at around noon, we wondered around trying to find the “heavy games”, which we eventually did without even being asked for our tickets at any point. (The couple we were with were looking to buy them and ultimately never were even asked to!).
The scheduled tossing the caber at 12:30 didn’t seem to be happening so we proceeded to go get food. We waited in line for 30 min before the rain started and we were asked to take shelter indoors.
