Natural Nails Spa — Local services in Saint Paul

My service was actually not good. Surprising for all the rave reviews. Firstly the attempt to take off my dip nails was rough and injured my nail. I had to ask for a soak off while wincing in pain.

The communication barrier was fine but if I show a picture of what I want I would expect it to be attempted and there was no attempt made. For the amount I paid I would expect my nails to look good but they look like cheap press ons.

They are already cracking, I got them done a week ago and the fade was not done correctly. Only come here if you want single color basic nails. I got dip with tips and the male tech wouldn’t even clean up the natural nail he messed up before gluing on the tips. I had to explain to him that a split nail could cause injury if I broke a nail. And he rolled his eyes!!

Overall The designs do not end up well. I didn’t see a single person leave without picking something off their hands. I had a ton of glue and dip left on mine. I should not have cheated on my other nail place. Happy Nails. Better quality, technique, and cleanliness all around.

If I could give a negative amount of stars, I would. I just moved to Saint Paul and have a super busy schedule...so, I was searching for a place close to me instead of driving over 30 mins to the regular place I have been going to. What a HUGE mistake. This is The WORST nail place I have ever been to in the 23 years I have been getting my nails done. I felt like the nail technician was rushing to get my full set done just so she could make more money and get to the next person. She was very reckless and seemed annoyed. She also kept making comments about how long I was keeping my nails, when obviously I wanted them that long because that is My preference. My nails looked okay if you only glanced at them from far away, but were completely flat and uneven with zero durability. THREE of them fell off within the first week. I had originally called them back to get them redone, but decided I didn't trust them to fix my nails at all. You couldn't pay me to go back to this salon. This was my 3-4 time at Natural Nails. I love how clean and respectful of covid-19 (mask wearing, cleaning, etc.) they are. I get dipped nails regularly in a neutral pink so they appear natural looking.

This time Kevin did my nails. I don’t think he was super familiar with dipped nails because I had thought he only did “two rounds” of powder when usually there are at least three. I trusted the process and left with a nice manicure though it felt “thin”.

Fast forward 20 hours….several nails had broken/were dull. This isn’t normal so I called and they happily made an appointment to fix.

Kevin was there and his wife patiently explained the error. He “re-did” my nails perfectly and refused a tip.

I just love this family owned place! I’d suggest to make an appointment and to pay cash. They honor a 10% discount if you do so.
